Re: Force Closures

Could be a few things, starting with did you wipe data/factory reset along with cache and davlik cache? I have seen some people where doing that resolves the FC issues.

Also maybe some programs not compatible with froyo

So, did you start this thread just to see your name in lights, or are you actually going to tell us what you think is wrong?

Re: Did HTC/Sprint release the 2.2 ROM without testing it properly?

It got released as an OTA update. That's like buying an upgrade DVD to Windows and expecting everybody to have a smooth transfer. The people who don't just need to backup+hard reset to see if that resolves their issues before assuming it was the company who put out a crappy product.

Re: Did HTC/Sprint release the 2.2 ROM without testing it properly?

They finaly relealease an update we thought we would have to wait a long time for and we have users complaining about no testing before release. I dont care if there is bugs and I expected it and who cares the important thing is they fix them.

Any suggestions?
I'm having the same problem. I used the official update released yesterday and the few widgets I used under 2.1 when the phone was responsive I'm using now with 2.2. It might be time to reset the phone. No friendstream, music, twitter, facebook, or Sprint stuff. May be some other software.
