Re: Internet not working? Possible Fixes!!
Im currently using juicys rom for sprint and ive been haiving this problem for days. I changed my active profile to 1 because it was at 0 like pretty much everyone else but now i go to my settings and data connection is off and whenever i click on it to turn it on it just tries for about 30 seconds then says cannot connect dialed 777. I also tried to update my profile in the settings but now it shows a key as the icon and it does nothing when i click on it... not really sure what to do lol

Re: Internet not working? Possible Fixes!!
I was on the phone with Customer Service and they walked me through the active profile. The phone must/might come disable to access the Sprint Network because I also had this problem. If your phone 'automatically' activates your profile when you turn it on, that might automatically enable this feature, but from my experience when I had to active it via CS I had to call back and enable the active profile to 1 (as it was originally set to 0). The CS rep had me do a profile update, but it said "no profile update." I think simply turning that feature on is enough to start the service.

If there are other issues let me know and I can grab a device and try to replicate them and find a solution. Obviously I can't fix provisioning issues, just device issues.

Update your PRL in your settings folder and you'll be good to go. I had the same issue

Re: Internet not working? Possible Fixes!!
The password is your MSL, a six digit key that Sprint can give you. Tell them that it is not connecting and they should want you to check EPST settings, which is where you want to be anyway.
IMPORTANT!! If you ever get your MSL from Sprint, write it down! I write mine on the box the phone came in, as well as make a text file to dump on my phone's internal/additional storage to have for the future, if I ever need it.

Re: Internet not working? Possible Fixes!!
I had the same issue. Wasted hours on phone with Sprint CS - even got to advance tech. Finally called back the next day and a CS rep had me pull the battery. Then she reset my internet account (took off my SERO plan and then added it again - according to an email I received). Afterward she had be do the update profile (which I was unable to do successfully previously). After she reset my internet I was able to do the profile update and the Internet now works just fine.

Re: Internet not working? Possible Fixes!!
I think you may be on to something. When I called to get my Diamond activated. The rep asked me if I turned on the phone yet. After I replied "yes", I heard a soft "oh" with a pause after. We got the phone activated, but I had no internet. Their must have been something in the activation instruction the rep saw to make her say that. If this is the way future PPC need to be activated, then HTC & Sprint need to put a insert or print on the protective film of the device "Do not turn on phone untill instructed by CS".
