Re: Got diamond sent to me for free(exchange)
so i will be getting my new diamond in 3-5 business. don't really care about the phone being sent over night if its for free. what i was wondering is that would i be better off holding of the activation of the diamond till say the 22 so i would make sure I'm able to exchange it for the pro.
I guess my question is does the exchange period start when u activate the new phone or when the phone is shipped? can anyone answer this for me please |

Re: Got diamond sent to me for free(exchange)
i emailed executive services (one of the highest CS you cant talk to) and i said heres the situation ecare is unwilling to rectify the situation in accordance to the notes and giving a generic 30 day response. Im out of contract and will simply take my business elsewhere if Im being stuck with a broken $600 phone because no one is willing to get it swapped out per your own tech's notes that its defective. i said any reasonable person would be pissed holding onto a broken $600 phone that no one will simply submit the order to replace it when its all documented and permission has been given already, be it the Diamond here but its cheaper in price than the 800 anyways. I even threw in that yeh its over 30 days but was told the warehouse had no 800's at that time i called and was TOLD by youre people to wait it out. thats not my fault it kicked me over 30 days because you had none to replace it at that time you cant hold teh customer accountable for youre lack of stock for more than a week or 2.
I seriously cant see what the big issue is, its a 100% legit request and all the notes are there to get it done, but no one will process it through for some reason. Last edited by SprintTouch08; 09-17-2008 at 12:06 PM. |

Re: Got diamond sent to me for free(exchange)
I emailed ecare1@cc.sprintpcs.com. It allows you to write longer emails then using the sprint.com system.
Summary of my email: I am on my second 800w, am I still in my 30 day return window,I was told it would be quiet awhile before a new device launched after the 800w came out. I am interested in the HTC Diamond. Response: Dear, So and So I understand you want to exchange your current handset with the new HTC Diamond. First of all, I apologize for the misinformation provided regarding the new handsets to be launched. I have placed an order for a new HTC Diamond handset and a return kit for the old handset. The order number is DM14-O-15627935. You will receive it in 3 to 5 days. Once you receive the return kit, put the handset in it and return it to the address given on the kit. When the old handset is received in the warehouse, the credit will be applied within 7 business days. We appreciate your business. Have a nice day. Sincerely, Blah Customer Service Specialist Sprint Now I still am not sure what the 30 day return policy is. I don't know if it is based on your original activation or if it is based off the replacement. If it is based off the replacement I currently have activated then I am still in my 30 day window just FYI. |
