what happens is they order the phone on ur account and once they get the return it back w/ the old phone they apply a credit to the account to balance it out.

wow.... just that fast! It worked! I sent this off at around 12pm and got a response by 4pm! I would have rather not had to do a credit transaction/ reversal, but that's a small price to pay in this case!!! Getting my Diamond Yall! *Ahem does anyone know when they'll be available in-store? if not I may have to go back and do some more negotiating! lol

the problem with that is Sprint stores dont carry the Diamond and wont for 3 weeks or so.
thats what CS on the phone was trying to tell me and i kept replying sprint stores dont carry the Diamond so how is that possible?! i dont think they really get it. Stlll waiting to hear back from executive services, surprised i emailed them this morning and stil lhavent heard back at 630pm now. They simply need to honor their agreement to swap my defective 800w out for the Diamond which they said was fine. i dont know why this is happening to u.once u threaten to cancel,they should have sent 1 from the warehouse.maybe sprint came out with a phone it doesnt have yet?anyhow,stay on them.i have been reading alot of these stories and am gaining different tatics for the pro.we will see....

well it wasnt really a tactic per say. i really did just want/need my 800 swapped out 3 or so weeks ago and Sprint had none to send which is totally not my problem or fault. Since the Diamond just came out i said hey jsut send me the cheaper phone since the 800 is 599 an the diamond is 529 and they agreed. now no one wants to put the order through they want me to take it into a store and i dunno what then because stores dont even stock the diamond! i dont think psrint even has a clue but i do know my account is noted with the 800 needs to be replaced in august and i can have a diamond for it a few days ago so.... time to call exectuive services since they havent emailed back all day. I dont want to threatent to cancel either, well #1 im out of contract on SERO so im VERY happy in that spot not being tied down but on SERO.
EDIT hmm executive service services only open 8-6, guess they decided to skip over my email for today, sheesh. Now i have to use my own minutes during their 8am-6pm hours to fix their own problem, wow sprint. Last edited by SprintTouch08; 09-17-2008 at 07:14 PM. |

i say tatics because there is no reason they should be ignoring your request.i had to jump thru hoops before they resolved my issue.i am watching all of everyone's issues because i have 2 phones on the account and only upgraded 1 in july but had to sign a new agreement,and i know im gonna have problems when the pro comes out.but im paying 129.99 a month and have no problems canceling for $200.sometimes u have to bite the bullet.

I have successfully got them to ship me a return kit for my Mogul as well as the Touch Diamond. They say it'll be here in 3-5 days.
