Sprint replacing damaged 6700 with Mogul

guys,
I just went to local sprint repair center yesterday hoping that i will get mogul. But, they had one refurbish 6700 laying around and they gave that to me as a replacement. guy was telling me this is the last one..
i took it anyway because my 6700 was unusable. i will go back again and try different store in few days..

Just ordered a replacement at a service center. From the previous posts it seems I may have missed out on a Mogul. But I have my hopes up.

To those that are still awaiting their replacements and also those like myself who have just recently placed an order, please tell us your results so that others that want a Mogul can have a better chance. and if you work for sprint please let us know when PPC stock is low. Thanks everyone.

I am getting a brand new 6700 on Tuesday. The guy at the store said usually they just give out refurbs but since I have a genuine issue and I wasn't demanding a new 6800 after bringing my 6700 in with a busted screen, he will order me a new 6700 to replace my broken one. The battery cover on my phone has always been very loose and would just fall of in my pocket so I took my 6700 in to see if they could just give me a new cover. Turns out it wasn't the cover it was the actual phone because they tried another cover and it didn't latch on right either so they offered to replace the phone. They were out or 6700 so I got a MOGUL! This was at the Kenwood store in Cincinnati, Ohio three days ago.

So, I droped my for the 10th time....the joystick went belly up that time and I took it into the local repair depot. They took about 45 min to tell me, "no good, has to be replaced". They didn't have any instock, the paperwork said that none could be ordered but I'll be receiving one in 4-6 days and to call them. I guess I'll be getting the mogul...

Had os6 on it...they didn't care even to question it. Just fix the hardware under the service insurance. it was an obvious hardware issue. Phone works, just not the button. I'll let you all know what turns up next week.

I guess sprint is replacing 6700 with Mogul...but how? you said "the paperwork said that none could be ordered" are all sprint store getting new mogul instead of 6700 replacement?
so I called my local sprint/repair center (IL suburb area golf/Algonquian road) and told them I am having problem with my 6700 and they said we still have 6700 in stock and we will replace with same one..

You guys DO realize that replacing the 6700 with the Mogul will bring the end to custom ROMs and kitchens for now, right?
