My 6700 was replaced by a mogul on Jan 13th in the DC Metro area.
I know everyone wants something new, but to be honest, until they release the GPS and EVDO Rev A updates, the 6800 isn't much of an update. The size is nice, but it gets worse reception and not as stable. Junkie |

Anyway, What should I do? I asked three different people there if the replacement would be brand new, because I do not want a refurb, and they said yes, it would be new. Am I going to get a new ppc6700 or a Mogul? Should I fry or brick the thing and go back before the new one comes in? Thanks for any help, I really want a Mogul. This is the first time I ever used my insurance, and I did buy this phone for full retail from Sprint. |

If you got it new they would have went to the back and got it. With no physical damage you are lucky they did anything. I had worse situation in Queens center mall where the lazy tech just hard-reset and gave it back. They say that if you are getting a replacement you must goto the same place for it, so wait for your replacement and take it home.... THEN, if you don't like it and it is defective, bring it to another service place. Keep tryin different places untill you get what you want or call up after a few "defective" units... Bottom line is if that USB port was broken, they could not even try to get it running. |
