I deleted the Bluetooth connection to my headphones and set that A2DP key value to 30. Interestingly, my PPC and headphones couldn't establish a connection, which had never happened before. So I tried a value of 40, and for the first time ever, I got an announcement that my headphones WANTED to be discovered. So, I decided a higher number might be better for my headphones. At this value (40), I get a little skipping at first but even when the value was lower it wasn't skip free. Also, at lower values, the music tended to drag a bit, like an old lp playing at too slow an rpm. So, I guess the moral here is that the best key value is a function of the type headphones you're using? Here's a non-Bluetooth problem. Do I remember correctly that in the original rom WMP paused to get commands from VC? But not now. WMP pauses for other programs, but not VC. Maybe because of this, VC has trouble controlling WMP. Won't stop it; next tract doesn't work; etc. When I say "stop," another program opens up. Thanks! -- jendand |

Bug Fix
There is an issue where VoiceCommand can not control media player. There are missing keys from the registry that enable this functionality. I had issues importing this as a .reg and had to apply them manually. The keys are: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VoiceCommandMedia] @="" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VoiceCommandMedia\CLSID] @="{A13C7005-B7BD-4F0F-B496-A830EAF8DB32}" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VoiceCommandMedia.1] @="" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VoiceCommandMedia.1\CLSID] @="{A13C7005-B7BD-4F0F-B496-A830EAF8DB32}" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\ UIPlugins\{A13C7005-B7BD-4f0f-B496-A830EAF8DB32}] "Capabilities"=dword:42000001 I will roll these into the next patch hopefully this evening. -saridnour |

jhuroleye: I am a sprint guy so I am not too sure of the VZW issues. I know I have to load one of th sprint provisioning cabs to get the phone to work on the network (or I have to enter it all by hand). There may be something similar for VZW. I would check up on the VZW threads. As to the sound, I have no issue with sound being enabled/disabled/muted, etc. I set mine to vibrate/off all the time in meetings at work. I would look at your 3rd party apps. I would try a hard resest and just load your contacts, etc from activesync (and any vzw provisioning that is required) and see if you still see this problem. Most of the issue that are unique to individuals and not all users have been tracked back to 3rd party apps thus far for the most part.

ok well... the only additional thing i have installed is the ext. rom unlock... i don't install anything else... primarily for this reason... so i can help find glitches... i disabled the wise bar and xcpu program... and i just tried another hard reset... but this time installed what vzw cabs i needed... and still no data network :-/ haven't had enough time to test out the sound thing... happens so randomely.. but who knows... if anyone knows the exact settings for the data network.. please tell me... i find all kinds of different answers... not sure what the username and password should be.. thought it was number@vzw3g.com and pw was vzw... then someone posted something about QNC? not sure... but gettin frustrated.. might just go back to aku2x and wait til the official release of aku3.... but i love all the new things with this rom its making it hard to decide
