saridnour,
thanks for this rom release. i'm happy to say with relative comfort I've run into minor problems running this rom release. I was wondering if there was any insight onto the issue with the IDtranfer app as it seems to not work. Also if you have not yet added solitaire, may i suggest to consider this updated version. The graphics are much nicer ![]() http://ppc6700users.com/forums/viewt...ight=solitaire |

fesstech: Not sure what the "flicker" issue is?
Also MSN and the other MSN apps will not be restored to this rom. I did make a note of this earlier in the thread as well as information that can help you to get teh bits in for yourself. ![]() -saridnour |

I don't have enough time to see if this has been reported yet, but I noticed a problem with my XV6700 and this ROM. If I set a PIN number (aka lock the device), then get a phone call, I cannot answer the phone - it rings - and the answer button (touch, physical, and softkey) acknowledges a click, but won't actually answer. The only way to get out of it is to reboot.
Again, this only happens when the device is locked. |

Installed SP1. This definitely fixed my problems with VC and Media Player. Also, my BT headphones are now able to control Media Player better. The only problem is that when I initiate VC from headset while WMP is playing, the player does not pause. So, I have to shout the command over the music.
Also, I have found that I get much better results by setting that A2DP reg key to a higher value. When it's too low, I think the PPC-headset communication suffers, and sometimes it actually has locked up my PPC. Right now the value is set for 50. I do get some initial skipping from WMP, but at least TCPMP now works with BT (and no skipping so far.) I need to experiment with that key value some more. Maybe there's an optimal value for my particular headset/device combination. All in all, things look good from my perspective. Thanks for all your work, saridnour! --jendand |
