BT PAN
I've already upgraded to pr1 and then pr2, and really really want to upgrade to pr4...
BUT I really really want my next rom to have WORKING BT PAN. Is there like a status report on BT PAN, or does it seem uncrackable? |

anyway to get a better list of what was removed?
This rom, like any custom rom should work on verizon or sprint right? It does not touch the extended rom? |

Valencia: Wireless Modem no longer works in these new AKU's. It has been replaced by "Internet Sharing" - which is much better and easier - but unfortunately does not yet support bluetooth.
Anyway, just fire up Internet Sharing on your 6700, select USB, press connect, place in cradle, and done. No more dialing #777 on your computer. Once the BT PAN issues are ironed out, it'll be awesome. Still, as it is, it is very easy and I can settle for syncing via USB for the meantime. |

valenciag & PhilR8: Wireless modem does work in this ROM. At least the IRDA. I tested this yesturday and was able to get connected. I did not try usb, but would use internet sharing if usb was to be used anyway.
jendand: Check the value of the key I specified in the fix. It sounds like the level may have been changed. Start at 30 and work up. Too high a value will cause skipping at teh begining of play (More detail in first post). I also notied the VC WM issues. It would say pasued, but not pause. Not sure if this is a VC issue or a build issue as this is the only rom I have been runnig anymore. I was going to post on the main and get feedback to see if it's my rom or all. rlith: I will see about getting your key addded to the rom. May see about getting it in the patch cab as well. Will test it today. PhilR8: So far, from what i understand no BT pan is working in any 3.X roms. I do not have BT on my laptop so I have not been able to test any BT functions as to teathering and have had to leave that to others. chefonthego: I removed most all of the MSN stuff. Personaly I do not like the way this was setup on the PPC and had issue after issue in AKU2. So I removed it from my custom ROM. You can copy the bits back into the windows dir and it should be functional as I left most of the registry information intact for it in the event of users as youself wanting it. -saridnour |
