I tried to respond but in the area where you type to reply was all white in PIE i refresed the page but it still wouldnt let me. So i had to use my computer. Sucks tho.....
I noticed that including the Device lock in the kitchen will sometimes cause lockups. I never include that one when I build a ROM. You will still have the ability to lock the phone anyways. I never have to hard reset. Only once in a while I have to do a soft reset though.

My suggestion would be to do a build with as little as posible and not install any of your programs. See if it locks up then. Then do another build with one more program included and check again. Keep repeating until you figure out what progma could be causing the problem

I just ran updater for build_os and lost most of the application options. A few of the options that are left report errors? Did I miss something?

sounds like your ppcgeeks_oem.rar got trashed or you forgot to pick a selections.txt file. You can download ppcgeeks_oem.rar manually from http://ppckitchen.org/downloads

Take it from a network security expert.... there is no such thing as a secure device... especially using the default code app on this thing.

Okay i did as sugessted and it still locks up. I have noticed though that it starts after a few hours or a soft reset. Either way i can only fix it with a hard reset.

To me any security is better than no security.

Where is the nk.nbf file stored now after creating a ROM? I no longer see it in the RUU folder like it used to be. I even tried a search and I cannot find it. I like to store the file when I find a setup that works well so that when I keep playing around with things I can always go back to a setup that I know works.
