Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

Hey guys,

I keep getting an error at the end right before I flash saying that my RUU stopped working and then it closes the flash. An error then pops up saying error dowloading rom. Has anyone ever gotten this? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks a lot

Download ActiveSync 4.5 if you don't have it, and make sure you picked your bootloader version in the REV dropdown.

I have windows vista premium and I managed to flash it yesterday and it worked perfect. I tried again today to try and fix the HTC Home problem I've been having and I get this same stupid RUU not responding error everytime. I have no idea what changed from yesterday to today, but this just isnt working! Anyone have a beer or weed or something? haha

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

Hi All,
I apologize if this question is old news and has been answered already. but I have looked threw about the first 100 pages of this thread and did a search for Battery and a couple others, and still have not seen any answers....so here goes!
Did anyone ever find a solution for the excessive battery drain that some were having with this build? I upgraded from 5.0 and put this on my phone a couple months ago, and immediatly my battery life was cut in half! I notice it really bad when I use the phone....it really drains quick! I was following this thread for a while and people where thinking that maybe one particuler app might be causing this and were trying to narrow it down, but then I got really busy and didnt see the outcome.
Any help would be greatly apreciated,
Thanks in advance,
0Gravity

There is an OEM you should select- I forget the exact name- but it refers to battery savings.
I think that it's just a reg file, but it might have other settings adjustments.
I keep a copy on my SD card. Feel free to use the attached.
My battery does pretty well.
