Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308

For the last or so week when I run the updater I've been getting an error window:
Can't copy PPCGeeks_OEM.rar.
I've tried with the Titan stuff selected and not selected.
It seems to get most of the way done and then stops, errors and "rolls back".

I just looked on the first page...and it says PrimeContact should be fixed.
Does that mean that you can now actually use it to make calls from your contact list?

No it is still a commercial app. If you purchased it, you can enter your code and use it to dial.

Hi, having problems still with messaging, intellisense or autocorrection being on/off doesnt matter. a possible cure would be to increase the priority of messaging to High therefore the CPU focuses on it better reducing or eliminating the input lag, do any of you ppc geeks know how to do this?

Have you tried going to the tools menu in the kitchen, and increasing the pagepool one notch?

P.S. , these latest rom & kitchen files are amazing. I sync activesync to see a pic of my actual model

Also, I have found that the "Updater" works best for me when selecting one download at a time & restarting it over for each download.

I've started getting login error messages ...

"Invalid character in a Base-64 string."

It's keeping me from starting BuildOS.

Edit: My fault ... I had entered the incorrect password.

<SIGH of relief> I did it! I cooked me up a 6.1 ROM and loaded yesterday... WOW what a difference. Thanks to everyone here that gave me the reassurance to take the leap.

This will not be my first ROM - now that I have some idea of what I'm doing, I will be working on perfecting 'My ROM'.

Thanks again everyone!

Now I'm getting a similar error:
Can't copy file 000_Shareware.rar.

What's happening here?
