"Disabled/Unavailable" works fine; but I have not ever seen an idle data connection. Please send me or post somewhere your Kitchen ROM configuration file for the XV6700 - I'd like to try it!
I don't think the codec is the problem ... Is anyone else having this problem? Again, if someone on Verizon is using the 6.0 or 6.1 Kitchen on the XV6700 please post or send me your configuration file. Yeah, they're on the SD card. I can't say I've tried changing the SD block transfer size ... increasing the pagepool did seem to help. I'll do a search and see what I can find regarding the SD block transfer size and why it's different than the stock ROM. Quote:

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308
I am having trouble with the new kitchen and my verizon 6700 - I recently received a replacement cause I dropped my other phone and the screen went out. The replacement they gave me has a 2.05 bootloader - when I try to load a rom I choose ruu-standard rev- 2.05 I get an error that my device is not compatible with the rom. But if I choose rev 2.02 or earlier and set the ruu to noid the rom loads about 80% then fails or does not complete. My device will read the the rom update was complete but when I hard reset the device I notice some programs are missing and some settings are not there but other than that is seems to function fine. Any thoughts or ideas. Please let me know.

THREADED SMS for 6.0
I know this is the wrong place, but:
1) no one reads the 6.0 threads much more 2) my searches came up fruitless Due to battery issues, I'm going back to 6.0. However, I still want threaded SMS. Anyone know of the cab file I can use to install this function? (Or was it in the kitchen??? It's been so long, I can't remember). Thanks! GErvy

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308
Just finished going back to 6.0. Gotta say, I'm running 6.0 with MUCH more apps installed and running in the background (WisBar, Wisbar Desktop, etc...), and compared to 6.1 it's BLAZING FAST. I'm convinced... staying 6.0.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308
My internet connection sharing will NOT work!! ive tried everything from uninstalling / reinstalling activesync, rebooting the ppc, rebooting my laptop, about 10 times now and cannot get it to work, it did work before. Also my wmodem.exe doesnt work, stays connected for probably 30 seconds then drops,w hat is the problem here?
edit: ok i got it working, but .. it only works sometimes... when it wants to also most importantly .. i think ive asked this about 5 times now.. id really like to get wmodem.exe working so I can use linux and i prefer using it also in windows as its faster than using ICS... any info on this is appreciated Last edited by kinesis; 04-28-2008 at 06:26 PM. |

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308
Just got upgraded to a Mogul by Sprint. Went over to the Mogul group and I miss my Apache friends. Before I move on, I have a question.
Can this Kitchen be used on Moguls? If so, are their any special concerns. Thanks |
