What is the registry hack that will decrease wm from closing the programs automatically. I remember seeing it in the close thread..

There is no registry hack for that.....wm doesnt close programs automaticly.Dont use any ram reclaim program like memmaid and oxius.

I beg to differ. This is a well documented issue with WM and been quite well tested and unfortunately--experienced--by a great number of people.

Here's a registry file. Remove the .zip extension and import it. You should notice SOME difference at least in the length of time programs will stay open:

My alarms never went off this morning, did yesterday no problem, today the phone was charging over night, is this a known issue?? Also when i press the battery icon on the screen i get powerexe error not found??

the alarm issue is common with winmo, go into settings, then click today then items and then uncheck the box next to today timeout 4 hr.

Isn't this the time out feature so the phone will go back to Today screen after a set timeout? How is this related to the alarm?

Alarm not going off is one issue I've had with custom ROMs and would like to try this out but not if it has alarm issues. I have the leaked 3.56ROM and have no issue with alarm.

LoL Well, so far MY experience has been, the alarm included has *never* worked. It's how windows itself is programmed. That's why there's many alternatives.

I use a program called SPB Time. It does many more things that the "stock alarm" can do and it actually works. Good luck

well, no2chem just got a cdma telus diamond rom dump, and seeing that there are many diamond elements in pre-8, I thinks it's a safe bet he's trying to use this latest build (cdma based...) for the next rom.
