If not, care to post the .txt of what the WM5 equivalent would look like using the kitchen. After I have that, I will add on, hoping not to exceed ROM size of course. Thanks!

I don't know if MMS is in the basic kitchen, but otherwise, yes. The basic kitchen comes with a .txt that has the "stock" selections.

Thumbs up

Just wanted to post and say thanks to helmi_c and everyone else involved here I downloaded the kitchen last night, built a WM6 ROM and flashed my phone. I was previously running a WM5 AKU 3.5 ROM. I'm pretty happy so far. Nice work guys

Hello, I'm new to this forum and to tweaking a sprint 6700 with a kitchen. I've got the rom "cooked" that I want and already on my phone. Problem is that the apps. seem to not be in settings or any places that the items selected should be. Did I miss something simple in the build process that needs done to activate the items on the phone? Sorry for the bother, but I am truly a newbee with using a kitchen. Thanks for any help.

look in programs.

If you don't see them there, then tell us specifically what you are looking for that you can't find.

Sorry for the late responce, I've been away for awhile. none of the programs I've selected are in settings or programs. I mean not a single one. (I selected almost all options one time just to test the phone) Am I possibly setting up the kitchen wrong or not performing a critical step?

You would have gotten an error if you checked almost everything that prevented it from building a ROM. Try again w/ the current kitchen.

Wisbar advance 3 will allow you to get rid of the Start word in the task bar.

BTW I've finally tried out the kitchen and have to admit it was more like using an Easy BaKE oven.

Thanks to all who have toiled to make cooking a ROM so easy.

My only problem is the green tinge to my bootloader screens. Downloaded the latest kitchen last week from Tierman's site, but still have the tinge no matter what image i try.

I'm having a small issue and I've search this thread plus all the other ones.

I'm on the latest Helmi Mod and have been since it came out. I up'd to the rev right before the 11/17 update and it's like a rock.

However, one problem I've been having is the volume in the earpiece. BT is fine, but the ear piece stinks.

I've done the 13k tweek and turned off evdo and I've done the Vol tweek to 95k in the registry.

is anyone else having this issue?

Maybe I'm missing a thread about it somewhere? Maybe I'm just getting older and my hearing is getting worse?

Any ideas? wanna kick me and tell me to look at another thread?

Many thanks.

I'm not really having volume issues (Plantronics Discovery 655) but I have noticed connection issues... Randomly it loses connection, sometimes it loses pairing when I get a text during a call, and it will not reconnect after a reset. Tried everything I know. Gonna reflash and see if I can fix it.
