Posted on the General TP2 form as well.

Not really surprised since M$ is focused on WP7 dev and not the old Windows Mobile.

Interesting part is Market Place will remain with access via Phone only....but the My Phone service being shut down does stink....not have not seen evidence that M$ will allow Skydrive Sync to Windows Mobile.

I am still using the Tax Day Rom, but now it has started to lock up and not send text messages. I saw some information on that, I will have to look.

I copy it over from rom to rom, so I would think it would be safe to backup the file and delete it to test.

For the life of me I cannot find the HTC Music folder... maybe that is my problem. Do you know where it is supposed to be with the library?

I just wanted to follow up on the first reboot email account issue. None of the posted suggestions for preventing this frustrating issue yielded any different results. The methods suggested of reinstating the data connection itself defeat the purpose which is to prevent the issue in the first place, so I didn't try any of the methods to recreate those.

I don't think they are trying to alienate you or force you to change platforms, but what they are trying to do is consolidate and upgrade so that maybe WM and WP7 can both use the same place to store there files.

You can't expect them to only worry about WM users as they are trying to move forward with new devices and platforms, it's not like they kicking you to the curb and not providing you with anyplace to store your files, they even said they would move your files for you, but I would suggest that you make sure that you have a local copy of everything that's on there in case something goes wrong with there transfer.

Agree. PIM Backup stored locally on SD card. I sync to My Phone currently and just installed Lookout Mobile Security (https://www.mylookout.com/) + doing PIM Backup to SD Card as well. can never have too many backups in my eyes.
