either its working or i did something the reg entries showed up and when i opened my htc peep it says its downloading my tweets. lol nevermind it said it was downloading them when i opened my htc twitter under start menu and now it just takes me back to the login again.

That dreaded backlight problem happened to me a while back when those overclocking apps first came out. They would mess up my reg and I fixed it by importing my reg again using settings export. Just be sure not to export while the backlight is acting up, or you'll export that reg and it will be there again the next time you flash when xda_uc is ran. Only way to get rid of it that once exported is to go in your xda_uc folder and delete the backlight and power files in the exporter folder and reflash (unless some one knows were the reg is located). But for some reason the backlight problem does seem to return randomly after some time. It's like having herpes on my tp2. But a simple settings export makes it go away until it decides to pay another visit again

There are varying theories how or what causes this. Typically it's been blamed on any number of user installed apps or configuration editors (eg, advanced configuration). I had this happen mid last year on an Energy ROM to one of my TP2 units, but have not had this occur since. Note that I manage over a dozen active Sprint (some on Boost) TP2 units... all running Energy ROMs.

Basically, use a registry editor, or automate via mortscript:

\HKCU\ControlPanel\Backlight\LockLevel

"You should see a bunch of keys and a folder called "LockLevel" - inside that folder is the LockLevel key with a value of 1 or 0 - you don't need to go inside that folder. just rename it from "LockLevel" to "LockLevelx" (add an x to the end of the folder's name)... soft reset"

I wrote a mortscript to automate all this long ago. If I find it, I'll attach it later.

Let me know if this helps or if we need to see what else needs to be done... I'll also update the wiki with this once I get some confirmations.

@mariano - thanks for confirming conference calls (3-way on CDMA) works on for Sprint network users. Teradog also confirmed this via using the TALK/SEND hard key.

For some reason it still does not work for me on the Apr.29.2011 ROM on my test unit. But Feb.27 on my main TP2 works fine. I'll chaulk it up to a possible fluke or a MSN configuration issue with that test unit. The error message I get is basically sprint saying a prerecorded "Voice command has been discontinued..." when I try to initiate the 2nd call. I googled around and did not see anyone get this message when trying a 3-way call.

I'll post an update to the wiki regarding conference calls for Sprint network users (via flash or SEND key) without using the Leo dialer mod for the conference call "button".
