Here is the thread about Freda ebook reader, since a lot of us are speaking about ebooks in the last days:

Will Ziggy471's Backup Test App still properly backup home tab quick links / shortcuts? I haven't used this since CHT 1.8.5. It worked great then, but then CHT 2.0 broke my backup and I haven't tried it since.

If not, anyone have any suggestions on what to use to backup the home tab shortcuts/ quick links?

To Telus users... do you get the Green Circular Arrows on top of the Reception lines in the taskbar? I believe this is because we don't use a Sim card - as I run android on and off I don't want to put a sim card in it either... did anyone figure out a way to fix that reception bar and get rid of the green circle? Other than installing different task bar icons? I really like the stock icons... <sigh> Thanks!

edit home tab
use your stylus to press and hold on the available portion.

OK, gave it another shot... I was on 1.03, a version behind last test & they came out with a new one.

Testing ver 1.05, been running a day with 748 in startup. ZERO issues! In review, use to have all kinds of SOD's, freezes, reboots, weird stuff that all went away as soon as I took wimo748 out of my windows\startup, so this is a great thing so far!

Bumped to 787 just now, will see if any issues, if so, will drop back to 768.. LOL, just hung up hard while typing this.. reboot....! Bump.. testing 768

you must be on the road.. how's the jump to 28xxx?! I for sure was going to jump, due to DRM, but now lost motivation ... false alarm... y'know, don't fix it if it's not broke?!

Hey Teradog, FYI I normally just run 21916 just to avoid the issues I seemed to always have with the 6.5.x builds. But I have been running the 28244 for a couple of days with wimospeed 1.05 set at 748 and the 2.37 radio and its da bomb! Smooth, fast, not a single lockup or SOD, I love it! Except I did confirm no DRM, but not really a problem for me as I don't use that feature. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

thanks.. gone are the days of 1st one to flash for me.. still on 005 (same as ninjaduck), it flys, msm/setcpuspeed 768, but wanted to test the new 1.05. So far so good... easy to change speeds... but, i've found that other things in my startup dir cause android not to run successfully (besides OC). So, until i find which one, i still have to reboot anyway & it comes up to GenY dual boot (select windows or droid), that way I can avoid OC & the other startup files..

So.... wimospeed doesn't help me personally yet & is slower, but very easy.

As i haven't got DRM to work & don't know what success is... where is your failure? Do you use ODMedia? Are you doing a library? What is the failure message?

OK tbob, got info below, thanks/d. Exact same message as I got. You've obviously had success in the past. If it works, does it just start downloading & then play?

I installed overdrive media console, then downloaded an ODM book file from the library and put it on my SD card. I started overdrive, selected Import ODM from the menu, browsed to the file on my SD card, accepted the default download folder, then get this media console error message: Unable to obtain DRM version information. Not all of the necessary properties for DRM have been set.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this or it is a known issue, but I noticed the following issue this evening with Energy.RHODCDMA.28244.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Feb.12

On the Appointment widget if I hit the Alarm tab, it goes to the Energy ROM Provisioning screen instead of the Alarm settings.
