Installing Tom Tom.. When restarting the phone a message saying that "BTTrayCE is not a valid application" promped, and bluetooth was not working.
...
So, if someone after installing Tom Tom see that error...he needs to install the packages i posted, which are "fixed". (of course the version of Tom Tom that gave problems needs to be uninstalled, to remove those 2 bad dll).
Great info as usual on the ROM, thanks/d
Will add tom tom issue/solution ref. your post to wiki under "T"

So, SOLUTION WAS REFLASH? right? just want to make sure you big issues went away with a reflash.. You obviously know your stuff by what you post...

Now the remaining issue is slow startmenu correct? You didn't mention which one you're running? the windows stock? If so, I'll let you know the FIRST thing I do in every flash is dump Windows startmenu for either "Panel" or "Compact" (Quickmenu... actually I run both @ same time, choose Quickmenu first, then back in & choose Panel... then upper left is still hot trigger for quick)... just a personal choice that saves 25 MB RAM right off the top.

Even if it's not your fav, if I were you.. basic troubleshooting would suggest dumping it with settings, startmenu layout & see what your results are. Please let us know.
At first, no. It was still undesirable. But last night after I typed that last message, I ran Task29, then reflashed with a 22 Meg PagePool. It is running MUCH better. I rarely used Task29 because I never noticed a difference with compared to without. Last night made me a believer. As for which start menu I'm using, it's whatever was default for this ROM. I'm game for trying a different one. Sorry to sound dumb but how to I switch to a different Start Menu?

The ONLY huge problem I have left - My Bluetooth headset. I cannot hang up from it. And trying to hang up from the hard key takes three or four presses. I'm going to read through this thread to find the solution as I've noticed others have had the same issue. Hoping there's a fix in the Wiki.

Thanks for all of your help on this. I hope my input is useful as well.

28244 has been fastest for me as well. I like it, and it will be nice to see a new sense on that sys build. Hangup issues SUCK. It's the stack.. There is no hope. (Sniff)

Yes your input helps, thanks...
Another task29 believer.. you don't always have to run it.. but if weird stuff is happening, do it.

working on the wiki now, no solution to BT hangup, but I did tweet NRG about it again, as the #1 issue here.
Just added a Welcome message to the top of the wiki, take a look, (click red "Energy FAQ" in my sig) should cover some of the common issues...

Already told you how to change startmenu & it's in the wiki (or will be soon if not :>)) settings, startmenu layout
*edit* just added this to wiki under "S" (which is copy & paste directly from my howto sig link below...)
Energy ROM's now have 5 start menu optionsbuilt into each ROM, 3 of which give you at least 90 MB of FREE RAM!!
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/1946969-post25443.html
"Start Menu Layout Switch (SMLS): start(winkey), settings, start menu layout switch
1. Normal: 73 MB free *default with NRG's great signature startup menu
2. List View: 72 MB free
3. Panel**: 97 MB free *** MY FAV BY FAR (OCMan like)
4. CSM**: 95 MB free (settings, startmenu layout)(Compact Start Menu... quick menu w/ mods)
5. Sense**: 97 MB free (EITHER start(winkey), settings, other, SMLS OR slider to settings"
OR, If not wanting to use NRGZ28 Energy ROM's:

*edit* Bunch of changes to wiki, including tomtom

.... on a diff. note...
WIMOSPEED (as usual, bucking the popular, standing alone..)
In the last couple of days replaced setcpuspeed with wimospeed in my \winidows\startup cause I've been messing around with droid a bunch lately & have had TONS OF LOCKUPs & reboots. Nothing but issues.

Twice in the last hour while running wifi router, my phone stops & then when I try to press the power button to make the screen come on, it reboots. Took a phone call & normally goes right back to wifi... NOT. Also, SOD. No new ROM's flashed for me since 29005 as it's just been another one of those rock solid ROMs, nothing new loaded.

Problem? Wimospeed. I'm sure stating this... a bunch of you wimospeed bandwagon popularity riders are going to frown... just telling you my results. Was wimospeed an improvement over OCT? Sure... but I hated that (OCT) & never could match setcpuspeed, stable speed... FYI is all, do what you want, believe what you will.. (my opinion, my results, yours may vary)

I just flashed, and when I set up active sync partnership, I got an error, so I unpluged usb, and pluged back in and tryed to set up sync again, for some reason it changed my device id to WMADMINxxxx or somethin like that. so I unpluged usb again, and then in active sync I deleted all partnerships, pluged phone back in set up partnership again and now all is well, just make sure you remember to chose "keep items on device or delete items on device" whick=h ever one you need.. Hope this helps..

I assume you're talking about direct ActiveSync over cable? Push has been flawless.

Hang issue is only with CHT2.0.
For this reason, after a couple of months using CHT2.0, i decided to flash Standard rom and add CHT1.7.1 (you can also use CHT1.8.5; i prefer 1.7.1 since it is faster).
So i got rid of that problem

lmfao yeah i'm a little anal, especially with my phones. yeah i used soapy water, was a little hesitant to do a wet application screen protector but things went fine and didn't use any more water than necessary. yeah i had read that you should apply it in the bathroom with the shower running to keep the dust down and moisture in the air, sure looks good though after all that hard work lol.

pass it along that i have a TP2 for sale in case anyone needs one, i have a couple people that keep inquiring about it but haven't taken the leap to actually buy it, would rather sell locally so the person can see in person but i work with a bunch of non tech savvy people lol.

i heard that NRG got a android phone, anyone have info on what he got? would love to see some roms from him! I'm running a rom from Calkulin right now, great rom, it's fast and not loaded with a bunch of un-needed stuff, not a whole lot of activity on this side since things run so well out the box, and i don't say that to rub it in, it's just the truth, plus i like the TP2 and all you guys so i come here to hang out when i get time.
