thanks for responding but i worded it wrong. the background image on the compact start menu screen does not match the background image on the home screen. how do i get these two backgrounds to match?

Radios and ROMS are seperate things (the ROM doesnt include a radio).
If you are having trouble with the radio, you can try upgrading yours, or even flashing a different carrier's radio (though you will have to unlock it before you can flash a radio from another carrier).

Also, the radio that works best for me may not work best for you, as it depends on which carrier has the best reception in your area.

Thanks for toggle tip! What i meant was the weather tab updates perfect. Was just saying i live near Los Angeles and its been raining for 4 days now and will continue through thursday ugh feeling like a caged animal. when the weather is good here, 95% of time i will be outside ridding my bike, running, motocycle, blades and sometimes working although i cant convince my neighbors i spend enough time on the last activity

On a brighter note all that hard play + work needs shower time. After doing the speaker mod, cutting the rubber from the back cover where the speaker is and installing the kevin increase volume cab edited by Maxx posted here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...a3_loudest.cab
I can take a shower with my bath fan on and set my TP2 on shower door rail, nitrogen plays loud and crisp with no distortion. i could hardly hear it before the mod and cab. Dont really care bout phone getting little wet, Im a plumber and my phone and I get wet all the time!

I don't use compact, but try this.

Start-Settings-Personal Tab-Home. Check the box for Use this background, Browse, and point it to the wallpaper you are using for CHT. It won't match if you are using HDWalls or HQ Wallpapers that span pages.

Running latest 29005 Sencity CHT 2 rom, after running Sprint provisioning, I thought I should see update profile and update PRL shortcute under settings and system section but I did not. In previous versions, I thought I saw these options. Anyway, easy to run a cab to get those but were these shortcuts removed in this new version and thanks.

thanks again but that didn't work out either. i'm just using the regular wallpaper (2007, the grass & sky/clouds). anyone else have any clue how to change the background wallpaper when you're using the compact start menu layout?
