For 21xxx users with QMenu, is the problem it doesn't pop up with hard key? I use Rhodium Keyboard Controller to remap my keys. Problem is you can't find it with Q Menu. I always install xtask also, which shows more control panel options. I have short press win key Q menu, Long press xtask. Install Rhodium Key Controller then I put xtask in folder on SD card, navigate to it with file manager, run xtask.
->control->system->keyboard config to remap keys.

xtask...[APP][UPDATE 07.05.2010]XTask ver. 2.3b4 - task manager for WM5/6/6.5.x - xda-developers
if qmenu doesnt show certain shortcuts you can just make new shortcuts and put it in "\windows\startmenu\" then it will show up in the qmenu

What error do you get when you try? I have had exchange issues with many roms and if you are getting the 85010013 error code, make sure that you have these registry entries set:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies]
"00001017"=dword:000000b4
"0000100c"=dword:00000040

That fixes it for me on most roms. It fixed it on the latest cookie and reference rom from nrgy.

I'm running Energy Sept 8 CHT - has been very good so far even with overclock. Just one thing I can't figure out maybe someone here can help me with (I searched but didn't find anything).

The weather GPS location is not as specific anymore? ie. When I was in Playa del Rey (a part of Los Angeles), or in Hollywood it would say the names of those cities. Now in either of those cities it just always says I am in Los Angeles.

I know I'm being picky here since I technically am in LA still but would be great if you knew how to fix? Thanks in advance, you guys on this forum are always great!

For those interested in battery life on the 9/18 ROM, I have been running the 9/18 23xxx CHT version since yesterday and the first thing I noticed that it settled in quite nicely on the first day AND today has been great. Been running "off the wall" since 9am and have used it a bit more than usual today and I am at 80%! Not bad for the first day after a fresh flash.

Also just got a text message that I was one of the winners for the PPCGeeks.com Win-X DVD Giveaway!! SWEET! Thanks PPC Geeks!

I personally prefer being able to keep my ringer volume fairly high, but keep the system volume low more often than not.

Thanks for reading.
I'm having the same issue.

That would normally work, however, moving the "ring" volume up and down has no effect on this ROM. (18th 23xxx)

That plus I miss the HTC task manager. I know I am probably the only one, but it is my preferred method of controlling what's open, ram usage, etc.
Hello, the task manager is still there, you just press on the top bar and a menu comes up! First option is Sprint - Connected, second is the battery charge and the third is the task manager.

Does anyone know why the activesync green icon is always behind my signal bars until I plug my phone into my computer? Running the new Cookie 21XXX.

I think it is supposed to indicate activesync is on. 21*** used to do it even after I disconnected, I now have 23*** and it doesn't.

Yeah I do. Should have mentioned that and that I have gone through all the settings to make sure all that is enabled, including updating with Quick GPS
