I find that 8/22 is a 10x improvement over all the later releases. Yesterday I was at ~90% battery at the end of the day and all other release past 8/22 I would have had to recharge at least once.

The biggest difference I see is that on the 8/22 build my phone can stay in 1x instead of 3G when 3G has a very weak signal. Not sure if this is the only difference, but it is an easily observable one

Running 21xxx | Cookie | Sep.08 for a day now. Everything is working fine. Battery life seems to be a bit short. But, it's too soon to tell.

Not me... I went over 54 hours on a single charge with the Sept 4 24xxx cookie. Subsequent use has been exceptional. Since then I have been on my second battery and am at 60% after more than 24 hours.

The only "tweak" im using is hypnotic and I'm going to change to MAXX134 after I get home to my USB cable.

I set my weather to poll every 3 hours. Mail is on "push".

Screen is on 60% brightness.

You don't need any specific drivers for your phone but you do for your computer.

Start Windows Mobile Device Center (Activesync) and connect your phone. Windows xp and up should automatically detect your phone and install the proper driver for it. You do need a network connection at this point because windows will go to windows update to look for the appropriate driver for your phone.

Once the driver is installed click on setup a connection for your phone in WMDC and it will connect. From ther, you can go back into your phone and set up tethering.

On the Internet Sharing screen:

Menu > Connection Settings > Advanced > Select Networks

Change "Programs that automatically connect to a private network should connect using" > arrow-down and select Sprint

Works perfectly for me. Somebody test this and see if solves your problem!!
Good Tip. Gonna add that to the FAQ's.
