Some things I noticed while OC'ing my NRG ROM:

1) I couldn't run Android. When clicking haret.exe it froze.

2) While listening to the headphones it would sometimes switch to speaker. Not good when listening to Howard Stern at work lol.

ROM is pretty stable for me. Been abusing it for days.

Info:

Statement to your first- running android on any rom would cause it to hang. This is a known problem- not NRG specific. Clock back to stock speed and run android and it'll be fine

it's a rather slow day in the NRG thread isn't it?

hmmm. Guess I'll have to talk about something then.

The other day I complained that 8/28 CHT 23xxx was killing my battery very quickly. But, I've always said to let things "settle in" before passing judgement on things like battery performance. And settle in it did. Had a very busy afternoon yesterday on the TP and after its second charge of the day it finished out the day quite nicely.

Today was fantastic. Took it off the charger at 8 am and I'm currently at 60% 12 hours later after a day of average use for me.

Just something to reinforce my "settle in" theory about giving a ROM a few days before passing judgement on it.

Running overclocked at 729 and no SOD's.

David

The slowness is how u know this is a good ROM... Solved most of the issues by users helping other users and now this. A stable ROM with few issues and there is nothing to put into the forum. Sucks for us that stay bored but good for NRG, he knows he did an awesome job AGAIN

Yea you really have to settle things. First day, it's downloading all the emails again n installing all the cabs etc. haha, so for those complaining- it's a must "give it a few days" thing

Really? I didnt think that battery life would get any better. Maybe I should have given it a little while longer. I get impatient when my phone dies fast and I have to charge when Im on the go. Sometimes I forget the things that were taught to me when i first start flashing. LOL

EDIT: Maybe thats why I love the Aug22 23678 build so much, I got great battery life right from flashing

Nah I didnt overclock at all. Not really interested in that anymore. The 28th didnt have time to settle, I got rid of it because I just liked how great the battery life was on the Aug22, right after flashing and gets a little better with every charge. Im not home alot and dont have any spare batteries so I needed that Aug22nd back
