I think you will experience some lost bars with any cell phone that has an internal antenna if your hand covers a section of it, I lost 2 when i just tried But it's not like the Death Grip in the CrApple phones

For the most part, it can happen with any phone. It just got widely (and negatively...and beaten to death) publicized with the iphone 4. MOst phones have a sweet spot - and a sour one as well - and it even may make a difference which direction you are facing. Your head will even sheild things too.

Thankfully, ours is much better than the iflop.
