Ok so ive been having SOD for a while now, tryed every trick you can imagine, tons n tons of roms. Oddly enough im not one to give up....i installed Mr. X feb addition last night, still had no control over my backlight... couldnt dim or brighten and SOD.... Well some reason i decided to run Mr. X Provisioning... I seen he had a Other tab, since im on TMOB with sprint phone. I clicked that... installed... Soft reset.... BAM phone is fixed... let it run all night... Overclocked at 786mhz, 200 poles, safe speed 633....Light dims in 30 secs like i tell it, and shuts off also as supposed to. Can also now manually again play with my backlight..... Soo my question is how can i make it still work after flashing energyrom? shall i just flash it over this rom? maybe itll stay on the phone? Im almost scared to even reflash because first time my phones worked correctly in a few weeks maybe a month. I really want energyrom on there, this Mr. X is not bad at all tho. I may just have to stick with it... There both good, but i prefer energy gtx.

Yeah that can be tough, sometimes u gotta stick w/ what works.. Hopefully on one of his next updates u can flash & not have any issues with EnergyROM

hey i need 2 ask abt pagepool wat exactly does it do, does it really effects on perfrmance n RAM, can sum1 pls elobrate..

With EnergyROM either use maxsense or CHT to make it easier on yourself

I'm sure I'll be corrected if wrong (LOL). As I understand it...the page pool, if you think of it as a sliding scale from 0-20...the smaller the number, the more free memory but slower. As you go to a higher page pool it has less free memory but it runs faster. With NRG, you can guess that page pool is up so it runs faster. If you want to run alot of apps, a lower page pool is better, if you want speed, use a higher page pool. Some of the forum has lately found 12 to be the sweet spot for having both free memory and speed...some say 16...others use 0. YMMV.. I hope this helps...and it was right.

I use 23xxx GTX and some are there already... others are loaded. Try NRG's Cookie roms. I can't use my phone any more without an Energy Cookie Rom. (LOL)

The last time I installed this rom the toggle switches appeared, now they didn't. Only asking where the light switch it=D>
