I just gave this a whirl. I probably didn't have to re-flash, but i did anyways becuase i'm a Flash-A-Holic. I set it to 748, let it reboot and at first things seemed good. Start menu pages were noticably peppier, but then it froze (battery seems warmer too). So i rebooted, changed it to 710 and so far it still seems quick, and no freezeing (only been like 10 mins tho)

Thanks, i may continue to use this, or wuss out and just drop it to like mid 600's lol.

Edit, Yup, 710 seems to be running well. I think I just gave my tp2 a new lease on life

Yeah, the Shoe. Sometimes I miss that place but I don't miss the commute.

Regarding OC, I'm in agreement with the other guys. You should definitely try it. This post is all you need, unless you want to try the other app (OCT), but Nayr1482's cab works great for me. I like the "STOCKSPEED" option, which lets the phone run at regular speed for x minutes after reset so yo have time to launch Android (Android won't run if the phone is OC, though it has its own OC'ing parameter).

LOL. Agreed, RI is the armpit if you compare it to Cap Cod. But for a small state, RI has a lot more going for it than many of the midwestern states combined! <duck>

Hi,

Yes, you can save all the Cookie settings by going to the CHT Editor, then going to Menu, then export settings. I usually export to my sd card so I can import the settings if (when!) I flash again. When you are ready to retrieve the settings, just go to the CHT editor, menu, import settings, and everything will be set up the way you saved it.

I OC to 710 and it runs quite well. I've tried faster, but honestly could not tell a difference. I definitely see a difference in Opera and iGO8 at 710! nice and stable

Aug 25th is the best ROM in the last 7-8 that have been uploaded for me. Been off the charger for about 4 hours and only at 80% battery. Phone is nice and cool as well.

Alright folks, first of all, I'd like to give a big thanks to Energy for producing this awesome set of roms.

I'm having problems with using the MyPhone premium features with my phone.

I've been having this issue for over a year with all my Energy ROM flashes. I can sync to myphone to backup all my data but the premium features dont work.

When i do:
Step 1: Run a Communication Test

I get:

The communication test sends a special text message to your phone to test whether the premium features are likely to succeed.
Your phone cannot be reached at the moment. This might be because the phone is not a supported model, is turned off, has no battery power, is out of range, or your mobile operator is not supported. Although you can purchase the features, it is not recommended until you are certain the phone can be reached.

The test sends my phone an SMS but the myphone service doesn't seem to be recognizing the sms and responding.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Device:
TP2 CDMA on Sprint.
Current ROM: Energy.RHODCDMA.23678.Sense2.5.Cookie.Aug.25

Fixed It.
Issues with ActiveSync over-the-air to gmail. Using 23678 GTX August 25 version. Will not sync. I even did a hard reset, still no dice. It can log in (I'm assuming it does because when I put in an incorrect username/password combo, it complained so I take that as it is able to log in when I put the correct username/password combo) Anyone else having ActiveSync over-the-air issues? I did not have any issues it the previous versions.

Getting the following...

Result: Synchronization could not be completed. If this condition persists, try deleting and then recreating the device's sync relationships.

Solution
Figured it out. Something must have been corrupted on my SD card. Deleted some folders and all went fine with ActiveSync. That's my guess anyways.
