Sounds like a HTC Mail bug, I can only test w/ my MS exchange account and report back ...

edit: Deleting from Sense works perfectly here, guess I'll have to stop the forward on my Gmail acct to my Exchange acct and set up my gmail on my phone again to test ...

My phone has done that with most of the EnergyROMs that I have flashed. I use Gmail setup via IMAP and will only delete from the WinMo Inbox interface. When I try to delete via Sense they come right back in next time it checks for mail. I just typically delete them from the WinMo screen by defualt now.

I just tried manually selecting GSM band and nothing!!

EDIT:: So I task29 with the newest VZW radio 2.35. Then I downloaded the stock rom and still not getting service... WTF.... any ideas?
You have to make arrangements with your carrier BEFORE you go international.
You could try to buy a local carrier specific sim card and see if that works.
Your problem really doesn't have anything to do with the ROM.

Have you done any taskbar changes?

If not just try a soft reset and see if that helps.

David
I tried soft resetting a few times. It's actually been showing 100% since point of install (where the battery was probably closer to 80% charge). I haven't done any changes including taskbar.

From NRG on twitter:

Aug 22 builds are coming up with a much more stable (and the latest available) Sense core. Changelog in a couple hours...

Try giving it a day or two to run through a few charge/discharge cycles and see if it starts working. Either that or you are getting insanely good battery life....

Thats the best news I've received ever since NRG figured out what was causing the instability in Sense!! Cant wait to flash the new ROM

Plus the new Dinik ROM will have more skinned icons for a complete look... Might give that a go again in stead of Cookie w/o the Dinik
