looky here some setting suggestions:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=6753

EDIT:
I was able to stay on 768Mhz on this rom whereas before on other roms, 748Mhz was my highest.
Sense crashes after a short time at this speed though.
best for me was 729Mhz & 710Mhz.

Re: |RHODCMDA|.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- Energy -.¸¸.·´¯ * |Aug 1| 21911|23673 * Sense 2016z

Hi,

I am using the HTC "ACT100" video cable to connect my verizon TP2 to my cars in-dash LCD display. It works great using the stock verizon ROM.

Basically, when you plug the above cable into the mini-usb port of ANY TP2, a "TV OUT" screen appears asking you if you want to the the NTSC (USA) or PAL (UK) video format. After that step, then ANYTHING displayed on the TP2's screen is sent out the cable as a regular composite video signal, along with left and right audio.

Now, my question is this - does this NRGZ28 ROM support this "TV Out" feature? Has anyone actually tested it to make sure it works OK?

I already did a search for the phrase "TV", and got back NO responses, so this worries me that no one has actually tested this feature out.

This feature is a deal-breaker for me - I'd hate to go through all the trouble of installing the HSPL, then this ROM only to find out that it doesnt support the TV Out feature and have to roll back everything.

Any help to answer this question would be greatly appreciated!

so if it says Current clock speed is 710mhz... that means it worked right? after the soft reset?!? Is that the only way to check clock speed is by rerunning the program ?

as far as I know it works on basically every rom. I've used it on previous version of EnergyRom and it works, but not the latest version since I haven't flashed it yet.

I find 710MHz to be a good operating speed without significant battery drain,
I also have the power key mapped to setting the speed down to 604MHz which has been free of hangups/SODs so far (710 almost always gave me SODs) Help was from here and more here

PS: have the windows/home key mapped to overclocking

Be sure to read up and make sure you clockdown to avoid SODs. Hitting the exit does preseve the clock speed until soft-reset and resumes post reset if "apply on boot" enabled. I think running the program is the only way to check speed

Also, is Opera 10 ever going to make it into this ROM? Opera 9.7 keeps giving me graphical glitches, sometimes won't let me click the bottom-right menu icon, and generally messes up a lot. I installed Opera 10 and it works great.

And why is the Verizon keyboard fix not installed along with carrier provisioning?

Las thing, Arkswitch is nice but keeps just disappearing at random. I'm not closing it, it just disappears.
Can you check if the zoom slider works in Opera 10? It was my understanding that's why NRG doesn't cook it in.

Arkswitch also randomly disappears on me. It works again after running manually but it seems to be a sign of impending memory problems - after a few times, I'll get the dreaded "Not enough storage is available to process this command" when launching Opera and my phone will freeze.
