Some tips if you want to stay on your build...
..
Turn off all animation, sun rays, second hand, flip clock, high def wallpapers, etc.., take music player off cookie home setup, etc.. etc..

if u r messing with your wallpapers much & top & bottom curtains, etc.. for some weird reason, I had to reboot & wait 5 min a couple times & now it's stable

Sashimi..
very strange.. although I waited until the great big reboot.. YES.. i've had to run it at least a couple times to get many of the apps to install.. (yes, rebooting each time)

It is completing because when I run it again sashimi auto doesn't ask if I want to "continue". The second time I run it it goes into MSVC help screen, gets stuck & I have to taskmanager kill the help & then run sashimi a 3rd time?? PIA

well 3rd time is a charm, works great, everything installed.. 3 ROMs in a row?! Weird.. but it works.

Why the heck does my AVG detect the RUUResource.dll as a Trojan virus... Should I re-download the file?

I'd say no, certainly not if you're on 673, I just burned it & no issues with Avira AntiVir

Sorry about that.

I downloaded the July 30 23673 CHT ROM and when I unzip it, my AVG pops up saying that that file is a Trojan for some reason. I suppose that I could just flash from SD this one time. Kind of tight on space on my SD card right now.

EDIT: Gave up and just disabled my AVG so that I could run the damn update program.

EDIT2: Whoops. I accidentally downloaded the GTX ROM. Hmm whatever. Looks really nice. Might be keeping it.

If it was me I would disable the antivirus while downloading the rom so it doesn't strip anything out of the rom which would in turn give you issues when flashing the rom, I personally would have no issues with doing that if I was on a pc <I'm on a mac>, NRG is not going to cook a rom with anything bad in it that would hurt your phone.

I know he won't, but its still just annoying. I think my AVG is just being a bit over sensitive from the updating its been doing.
