you didn't say what dates on your ROM's, get the lastest, wipe device, task29, flash ROM, wipe device again (in settings), install NOTHING & try your phone. Then report back here if issues..

Yes is there a setting to disable random wakeup events...the phone light turns on whenever the phone is trying to access the internet to check mail, tweets etc.... this would save alot of battery if it did updates on the background without switching on the light....and if there is a new event...it would notify with a sound.

Hey Guys,

2700 pages is way too many to read through, and searching didn't find me an answer. I have two problems with the regular energy rom. First, i can't use picture mail. When i try to send a picture, i get an error that says " http: send GET request failed." Second, when i set up my email with windows live and set it to "as items arrive", my battery lasts like 5 hours, as if its trying to pull mail all the time instead of pushing when something new comes in. When i flash the stock sprint 6.5 rom, picture mail works and push email does not effect my battery life (i don't get that many emails). I ran 21914 for two months and installed 21916 today, problems are still there. I'm guessing the problems are on my end and not the roms cause i haven't seen anyone else complain about them from what i did read in this thread so far. Any ideas?

By the way, except for these two issues, the roms are great. Fast and stable, just what i need.

Completely amazed. NRG this is incredible. Flashed TOG 10/14 CHT2.0. absolutely flawless. OC to 729 with glyph to 64 and still have 75mb free after running for a few hours.
I can honestly NOT find one thing to bitch about---or even raise an eyebrow. Graphics--amazing. Speed---outrageous. Stability---not one second of glitch or hang. Remaining mem---phenomenal. And I loaded 30 of my own programs!!! You have outdone yourself NRG. so tether safe TP2--why spend an extra 30$ for the Epic to have your friends jump on you wifi????????????

Use the paperclip and look for a cab called "NRG.ROM.Sprint.MMS.Settings-Boushh" install that, it should make the MMS (picture messaging) work for your phone.

You shouldn't need a cab, you should have an option to switch start menus in the settings.

first off did you provision the phone for your carrier? start>tools>carrier provisioning, soft reset and then install the Boush mms/sms cab in the paperclip for this thread and all should work fine, does for me and everyone else.

well i don't use windows live or anything, i use IMAP and i check that manually, why can't you set yours up to check manually instead of push if it's using that much of the battery up, or look through your settings and mess with things, nothing like searching around your phone and messing with settings and learning something new, also you can search this thread for battery saving cabs, they are also in the paperclip for this thread, max no sd card one seems to be popular, or the hypnotic battery cab.

bro i would love to be here helping out, but real life has me busy and don't have much time to be here lately, and i have been in the process of reformatting my computer and getting that up and running again, it's coming together just slowly.
