That's how I found out about this bug, by accident I pressed the music player and it shut down MaxSense and never came back up. I am going to export registries before and after this to check for changes. If I don't find anything then it's a file or database corrupting.

NOTE: What I did to avoid this from happening again was copying an alert to the \My Documents\My Music folder.

Damn I would say that's more than a bug if it's resulting in you having to do a hard reset just for not having music on the phone or SD card, seems kind of weird that no one else has reported that issue though, so if I was you I would make sure that it's not something that your installing or restoring and then try it, and if it's still doing that to PM NRG and notify him of the issue and I'm sure he'll look into that.

Check this setting to make sure it's not checked so you can charge over USB. start>settings>system>power>battery, that's the only place I can think of that would keep you from charging over USB.

Or an easier way that I just thought of is to hit the battery icon in the task bar>battery and check that instead of the first way that I explained, it's quicker, and I will try to think of any other place for you to check that might stop you from charging over USB.

Ya, sorry I should've mentioned I already checked that and it's unchecked. If I plug the phone into the wall it charges in two hours and the previous ROM charged fine over usb if somewhat slow. Not sure what's up with this one.

That's cool just glad that you had already checked that. Man for the life of me I can't think of any other place to check, I just got done going through my phone looking, I could have swore that there was a place to check/uncheck if you wanted to charge over usb but I can't find it on the rom I'm running, sorry.

Solution to Music Player crashing MaxSense when no music in phone or SD:

It's in the registry. The value that crashes Music Player is "setting", what I did was export entire HKLM/Software/HTC/AudioManager_Eng and import it to get it back working. setting was set to 20 before it crashed, and after crashing it had a 36. I changed it to 20 and MaxSense started working again.

I found the solution, the "setting" gets a value of 36, it used to have 20 when it worked. I am trying to get someone to confirm that this does happen to everybody (or somebody else) but nobody seems to want to try it out. By default it comes with no music, just pulling SD card out and trying to use the Music Player should be able to duplicate this behaviour. I am able to fix it again by putting "20" on the "setting" under "HKLM/Software/HTC/AudioManager_Eng"

I am trying to retrieve file from my htc touch pro 2 device not storage card but everytime i do sync and i select the option browse content of device from windows mobile center my pc would freeze. but it does not freeze from my storage card, does anyone know how to fix this or is expericing this issue

It seems that the tab icon display is still linked to PIE and not Opera. If you open IE, tap the icon on the bottom right corner, then the star icon on the top left corner, you will see any saved links you have in your windows\favorites folder. Tap any that you have linked on the Internet Tab, let them fully load, and you should see the mini pic of the web page on the Tab momentarily.

After fixing the "setting" to 20 I now get an error window and if I press START I get it as well:

EDIT: I reinstalled .NET CF 3.5 and I got a different error when running MaxSense, but it runs fine...

for in call recording when i pick device the recordings get saved but when i pick storage card, i can't find where the recorded files are on the storage card
