Are you using the "Cookie's home" Rom version. if so, that is quite easy.

I am with USCC and my data works fine until I get into a roaming area, as I did yesterday. It worked fine until I had to soft reset then the data would not reconnect until I was back in USCC home area. Which was 5 hours later! Anyone else have problems with this???

I had the "waiting for network" issue also. I got that on one other ROM this week. I've had the issue in the past one some ROMS but read where it worked for other people so I dunno...

I ran into this also a couple of roms ago... used to work out of the box then it just stopped. Here is what I did and now it works fine.

Goto Start>Settings>Connections>Connections

In the bottom "My Work Network"
Click "Add a new modem connection"
Give it a name... I call mine "Internet"
Click next and enter #777
Click next and leave all 3 blank (usrname, password, domain)
Click Finish
Click OK

At this point you can go back to the Wifi Router and start it up or use Internet sharing.

The strange part is that the router doesn't even use this connection because it will show on the bottom that it is using the "Sprint" connection, but for some reason after a flash I can never get the router or Internet sharing to work until I add the Work connection. I hope this helps.

My mistake I wrote the end of my post badly. I meant to say that I was on my gf's ipod touch from my phone's wifi router...so the wifi router of the ROM works perfectly fine. Good speeds and everything. Was just saying that the wifi worked vs the internet sharing not working.

I'm with uscc and roam about 6 hours a day. I am on the latest 23xxx gtx rom and in general have had not problems, but.... over the years I have learned that when I cross into different cell areas my data will quit and to get it back I have to throw my phone into flight mode and then take it back out and all is fine. I have had this problem with all the custom roms I have run on all my phones, some are just better or worse than others. Energy is one of the best, but still on this new build I find I have to do this once of twice a day.

Anyway give the flight mode fix a try and see if it works.

(for those who follow this issue I do have my password set in the #777 connections settings)

I searched back, and all I could find is that the Borders ereader cooked in is missing a part that allows it to search the SD card for books. Wondering if anyone has found a fix. Would be nice to actually use the tab. Currently the only way to read a book with it is going in Total Commander and clicking the epub file.

It works, but having my library on the tab would be sweet.

I have searched up and down for this answer and if i missed it i apologize but how do you get rid of slide2shutdown if it is not showing in the "Remove Programs"????
