i was using .. the cookie home tab version with 21903 build may22.. before installing it again ,i wanted to know whether this build is optimized for battery life.. i mean is the battery life better than the stock version..

also i am currently not in US so i am using GSM .. i have noticed that the the rom automatically starts using cdma when i restart the phone even though i have actually selected CDMA..

Nuebattery works fine......as far as having to flash from SD card because of that issue.......all you needed to do was enter BL manually.....

other issue is also weird....I would re-flash based on both issues that are not common....

1) I have been using the nuebattery drivers for a long time and have not had or heard of any compatibilty issues. Do you have any custom tool (icon) bars installed... some of those cause compatiblity issues (with the display % not with nuebattery)

2)There is no such thing as Optimized for battery life when talking about NRGZ roms. He has stated many times that his phones are always connected to chargers and doesn't care about battery life... just features and Bling'. That is why a small group of users devoted a new thread to Battery life just for NRGZ roms.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=113321

3) Are you sure you are using the right rom (cdma or gsm)? Maybe some one else can help with that question?

4) My opinion.... Re-flash (I would even use Task29 just to make sure)

Firstly, I would like to say that this is a very nice and fast Rom. I have used others, but always felt that I wanted a "smoother" feel to the phone. Thank you very much. Here are my testing inputs:

I have searched the web and the forum and I believe these are new issues:

4 bugs and 1 issue I have found:

Phone: Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2
Rom: May 16 21903 Build: Cookie Version

Issue: Battery life is horrible compared to Latest Mighty Rom.

Bug 1: Wifi Router keeps stopping itself after about 15 seconds and then restarting

Bug 2: Sometimes, when a reminder comes up for an appointment, I click on it so that I can click the Edit button and change something in the appointment. But when I click on it when it first comes up as a notification it then shows a blank appointment and when I click edit, all of the text boxes are blank. Again, the notification for the appointment is fine. The problem is when I click on it so that I can see all of the appointment details.

Bug3: Sometimes, when I go to end a call, it just hangs at the phone screen after I click "End Call." None of the buttons function, and I have to restart the phone.

Bug 4: ALL scrollbar arrows are gone from ALL programs.

Once again, thank you for a great Rom.

Issue? 1) Seriously.... The post right before you.... (There is even a link to a whole Thread about this) BTW - Comparing it to another rom? Ugghh Man, My wifes passat's torque sucks compared to my 500hp F250 Diesel... VW's suck (My battery life is great)

"There is no such thing as Optimized for battery life when talking about NRGZ roms. He has stated many times that his phones are always connected to chargers and doesn't care about battery life... just features and Bling'. That is why a small group of users devoted a new thread to Battery life just for NRGZ roms."

Bug? 1) Wifi router... Go to connections and add a new connection

Bug? 2) Phone issue -:Issues with answering/hanging up phone

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings], make sure SuspendResume is set to #777 (not anything containing GPRS). This issue seems to be related to Advanced Config.

Bug? 3) No clue... Anyone got any advise on this one?

Bug? 4) Don't know about the scroll bars - I don't use 21xxx (My guess... something visual you installed, ie theme, task bar, etc)

BTW - PUNCH ROM for everything in this post... just because

Nope. This doesn't work for me. And, being that it just means I can't use the CHT Lockscreen, it's really not that big a deal. I will just use the default lockscreen and not worry about it.

Thanks for your help anyways.

Did you make sure under phone settings, network selections, it is GSM only instead of global?

I love me some CHT lockscreen too, but it's known (by the devs even) to cause a lot of issues with other programs. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.
