Since my SD card went to crap, I was forced to do just that. Once I ran the ROM with nothing installed, I mean not even an email account, I decided to install only my work email and run it for the day. I love this ROM even more. I remember one user saying, rather snidely, that when everyone was saying that NRG's ROMs were getting faster each release was absurd. That if they truely were getting faster they would be reacting before you actually pressed a button. The tweaks NRG added to this ROM to make the touch control more sensitive makes me feel that way though. I feel like the letter is already on the screen before I'm done pressing. Especially with nothing extra installed it really flies. I would recommend every user to try it out on this release. Nice job NRG.

Thanks for everyone's help with the radio. I guess I am not security unlocked. Can I just update my Sprnit PRL to update to the latest radio? I remember that I changed to a different radio that used less battery power as one of the battery saving tweaks. Could I update to the 2.23 radio using the MSL code (not really fully sure what that means}?

If someone has a problem with a ROM freezing even only once a month, perhaps they shouldn't even be flashing at all and just stick with a stock ROM and running to their provider every time that freezes to get it fixed..

The chefs do an excellent job (especially NRG considering the number of ROMs he puts out at one time) for just a click of a "Thanks" button and I've never seen so many people whine in my life about "this shouldn't be happening, fix it!" instead of asking "did I possibly do something wrong?"

After flashing the last three releases I am still having a problem with the signal indicator being covered up by the activesync icon on the taskbar. Before each flash I am Task29'ing and letting the new flash 'settle' before doing anything but it continues to show up.. Any ideas?

Try this....use dotfred taskmanger and go in and kill tmail.exe.....then try to install....if that does not work I am not sure....you could also tear apart the cab I made and find the settings and input them manually if it wont install....

In the attachments there is a cab file called MightyMike stocksignalbars.....use that or grab a sim card...that is the issue...the no sim..

yes un-nstall the fix....no fix is needed....you either manually input your settings or install an arc cab....
