..not necessarily problems, well ok maybe, but it's just the price you pay for pushing this device/newer technology. Probably will will never be perfect, The price to pay for being cool. lol. Getting pretty close though. Energy and the other active chefs here are helping us stay current competing against all the newer devices.

Has anyone else had any problems trying to send an MMS from the "Album" program? For example when I open Album and click on a picture to make it fullscreen, I can access the hidden bottom menu by clicking anywhere on the screen. When I click on the 3rd icon from the right (A dot with 2 arrows pointing up and out) I am able to select "Messages," this option used to insert the picture into an MMS. Now all it does it open a regular text message with no picture.

I know you can just goto the text message app and start a new mms, but using the album method is easy and faster.

I'm using GTX Feb27th 21916 on Sprint with the carrier provisioning installed. I've had this problem for as long as I can remember.. I know it worked at one point though. Any help would be appreciated

Right now I am on travel in El Paso which is extremely close to the border and my phone will go back and forth on international calling and roaming and I can not turn it off. In the stock sprint rom all you had to do was go to the communication manager, press the phone button, then press cdma services tab, then press Roaming, press get settings, the change option to Sprint Only. Is there a way to fix this back to these options for sprint? In NRG's when you do these steps the roaming options are for changing the ring tone associated with roaming. Thanks

** I may have blindly figured this out. Navigating the same way into phone settings you can select an option not on stock for Preferred Serving System that gives you an option of Home Only vs Standard that may serve as the same function. I will test out today and post back.

Is there a registry edit for QuickGPS to automatically update after expiring? I have the settings correct with the boxes checked to update, yet it never does unless I manually update them

Also, I am having troubles with the hardware keyboard being unresponsive. Half the time I try to use the phone, I am forced to slide it shut and hit the power button. Then i need to hit the power button again, and unlock the phone and the hardware keyboard works again.

I installed March 6 29007 this morning using my usual setup OC'ed to 748 using wimospeed. Removed the energy_sprint cab from my xda_uc folder per NRG's comments. Everything seems solid, the new dialer works fine although I never had the problem answering calls reported by others. I received mms without problems but have not yet tried sending any. I did have the screen freeze once (Not SOD), where the touchscreen is totally unresponsive. However was able to resolve this by turning the screen off then back on. So based on very preliminary observations seems to be solid. Will report back with any interesting observations. Thanks for sticking with us NRG!

Well, you have to think about it this way before you post a statement like that. First, its a very popular ROM. Second, lots of people from lots of carriers use it so it has to be suited best for general use even though it leans a little closer to sprint. And... most people are going to come here looking to solve a problem so they are going to ask for help. Also, lots of people like to run the 27, 28 and 29xxx rather than the more stable 21xxx. You are more likely to have problems with the "newer" builds than the tried and true 21xxx line.

NRG cooks a lot of different "flavors" for people to try and updates regularly. Try them out and pick which works best for you rather than making an assumption and griping about it. THEN and only THEN...if you have problems, you can gripe. Until then, try it out.

I for one will say that I have not had hardly any problems with any of NRG's ROMS. Seriously - and you can go back and search my posts if you want to verify that fact.

Having problems? Read the excellent wiki that gives you detailed answers to many of the common issues that can easily be fixed. Also, read the last few pages as most likely things were probably addressed there as well.
