The saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind. Besides for the standard issues with 2.5 everything looks really promising with this ROM. Its definitely my favorite ROM right out of the box. The one thing I would love to have with this ROM though is a list of things that are installed with it so I don't reinstall over top anything that's already there. But hey, you can't have it all and I would prefer if NRG spent the time it would take to do that to have a bit of fun as he deserves it!

The only apps I really install add to the eye-candy of an already pleasing ROM are:

Max Manila (I like the 20 shortcuts)
HDWall (I like having my own wallpaper)
IGO8 (GPS)
Resco File Explorer (I prefer it to Total Commander for everything non-registry related)
Core-Player
AIM
mtoolbox (free app that uses the g-sensor for water/shock levels and the light sensor to measure lumens)

Everything I install just adds to what I use my phone for. Everything that deals with the functionality of the phone I gladly leave to NRG cause I fully trust he knows what he's doing.

Thanks a lot NRG as this ROM is pretty kickass for a Man 2.5 Rom and I can't even dream of switching back to 2.1 now.

Girlfriend thinks I'm crazy!

Every so often I'll take my phone out, slide thru the tabs, play with all the cool apps, poke around in the start menu or at times just stare at it-admiring the graphics. Now that is a testament to NRGZ28 and his most Excellent Rom!

great job on latest release, i am running the 6.5 nov. 9th...minus the provisioing file which is nothing, and entering my sprint mms setting...i can honestly say i am comfortable with this rom totally execellent...i will be on nov. 9th version, until something significant happens..boy its pretty stable...can text from manilla, send mms and recieve...no sprint tv, but a minor sacrifice...good job bro...keep it commn

Every soft reset mine keeps asking in jmz provisioning if i want to install carrier cab or not. When trying to do the sprint cab it says prior one must be installed. When you try to uninstall it says it fails. Then it installs because you say SURE overwrite. Then it reboots then I get jmz provisioning screen again. I can skip and it boots but thats what happened with the nov 9 21864.

also having a stwater can't delete issue with auto-wallpaper changer. Can't go into the files with total commander and delete either.

Provisioning Network Selector appears after every Soft Reset!

1. Open File Explorer (Start -> Tools -> File Explorer)
2. Navigate to \Windows\StartUp, and delete Provisioning.lnk!

Got a weird situation, or else I'm just missing something: if I'm playing music and browsing the web, I can't switch back & forth. To leave Opera I have to use the start menu button, which gets me back to manilla, but kills Opera. Is there a way to switch back & forth? I used to just use the pull-down for task manager in the upper-right corner, but there appears to be no equivalent for 6.5.1. I'm completely sold on 23504 & Manilla 2.5 and *really* don't want to switch back to Photon if it can be avoided.

EDIT: Turns out Taskfacade works fantastically in this role. I mapped it to the send (hold) key and it really makes things elegant. Still, would like to know if there is an "official" way?

so I guess there is no way to change the "rom" file properties of the stwater*.* files in windows? I would like to use the 6.5 default lock screen and use ants autowallpaper changer to change the backgrounds. It can't overwrite these files because they are marked as "Rom" files. Was able to remove the read only attribute with total commander, but not rom attribute

Just a hunch, but have you tried to rename the old file, then paste the new file, then delete the old renamed file?
