Do you have Swype as your keyboard? I noticed this contact not autofilling issue when trying to use Swype. Change to one of the other KB's and see if you have the same issue

That fixed it, thank you very much! Is there a new version of swype out? I noticed someone posted a swype keyboard that had a dark smooth look to it. Cant find the post right now though

when i backup with the settings exporting my quicklinks always comes out right then it links to random phone numbers. is there anyways to fix this? using 6.6.10 cookie but this has happened before.

I have the same issue, but only with Swype as well. As a work around, I find that if I type a full name such as "Harry", and then backspace to get rid of the last letter, it shows me names that match the part I have typed, in this case "Harr".

It's an odd work around, but it let's me keep using Swype, which I love having for email.

same exact problem with touchpal you have to backspace a letter to get it to show up. weird.
