I'm having really strange things happening with this rom too... sometimes its fast as hell (startup) but it seems like if I let it run for an hour or two, the battery life starts going off a cliff, starts doing SOD, text messaging freezes completely and the device lock screen occasionally freezes and won't let go.. It really feels like theres a hung process that's chewing through memory and proc cycles doing something or other. Running Mar 20 6.5.5 Standard.

Same thoughts here. I think it could be something with the 23549 build. I switched to another rom entirely which is very stripped down yet still had a few of the same flakey moments as the 20th nrg rom.

Incoming calls locked a few times and after a few hours things would slow to a crawl. the times they did I tried to get the task manager open to see what was using the cpu and the taskmaanger wouldn't finish opening so I had to reset :/

Im having the same problem as JukEboX and TheCodeBenders. Ive just been leaving the back off of my phone cuz ive had to reset it so much.

Until the Mar 20th the battery life on the 2.5s was really really good. Now I'm with you, I can't run my phone all day on the current release on a single charge (I used to be able to almost make 2 days on a charge). Wait for the new release and give it a shot again if you like the 2.5 look and feel.

I think I may have a start to figuring out the white screen issue. Are you using the MaxManilla version? If so, the issue has something to do with BG4all using the new 2010 NOW theme wallpaper. If you change the Wallpaper using the MaxManilla hidden setting screen from "B" to anything else, the white screen goes away. Maybe has something to do with file compression? I'll keep my eye out for some more info on this.

the white background is because of some new drivers that were used that caused problems. those drivers were taken out and the originals were used on the later 20th versions to fix this problem.

I have had major bogging down problems with both 21895 and 23549 with my Verizon TP2. I have been using these roms since they hard spl release with very few issues. The only mods I have installed are some from bigndad relating to the MM notification icons, a clear clock background and transparent call history/appointments. I have installed Beejive, Verizon Visual Voicemail, and skyfire. I have installed the carrier provisioning cab and a few minor things like - no sms deliver notification and the cab that stops the phone from locking itself after you put it in sleep mode.

I cannot seem to figure out (wish I had the time) which of these cabs are interfering with the process.

The 21895 flash had an issue that when I turned on my phone in the morning, by 10AM it was down to 30% battery with NO use whatsoever.

I am back utilizing the stock rom until I can figure this out or get some answers from some of you highly knowledgeable experts here on PPC Geeks.
