ya, but it only works on PC because they pulled it from the emulator. don't get me wrong, its cool, but its going to be months b4 it makes it to the hd2 (if it ever does) and will probably never run worth using on TP2

Yes I read Murdducky's post front to back several times. I put his SDConfig in the SC Root. Unfortunately, none of my .cabs required a reset and I never put the deleteops.ini file where it should go. So I ran Sashimi after the 3/13 release. Everything was super sweet. It all set up correctly and everything was working great. A couple of hours later I reset my phone... the SDConfig file took action! It ran Sashimi again only Sashimi didn't remember that it had done all of that hours earlier. When it was done, I had two hotmail accounts and no way to delete either of them. For some reason when I selected delete from the account settings screen, both Hotmail accounts were greyed out. I had to hard reset.

Then I tried the SDConfig file that came with Sashimi 8.0.

NRG ROM hung up on the UC setup phase every time and wouldn't go past it. I had to remove the battery and the Storage Card and hard reset. Then I deleted the SDConfig file and ran Sashimi from the autoinstaller.

I have to say that Sashimi is pretty cool. I think I want to get to know SDConfig a little better though. I think we could be pretty good friends. Couldn't I just put all the cabs I need in an SDConfig file? Is that how UC works? I like the code style so I have a better idea of what is actually happening. More reading posts!!!!

Is there a way to Sashimi my Opera home page and settings? In Murducky's thread he says to copy the Opera settings file, but will that put my websites in the home page as well? Time to test. I like flashing.

Murducky, if you happen to notice this, it might be good to add instructions for putting the sashimi link your sdconfig.txt file creates in the startup folder into a deleteops.ini file, so it gets deleted after a full install.

Bsarlo, sounds like you are getting the hang of it, albeit with some painful lessons. I don't know much about using UC by itself. Someone, I believe NinjaDuck, is working on a UC instruction guide.

Regarding Opera settings, I don't set them myself, so I don't know what the reg entries are, but most likely it is doable. Murducky's guide has a lot of reg settings listed, so you could check there.

What I did once I got serious about getting Sashimi setup fully, is I spent a few hours doing hard resets and watching the setup. I'd tweak settings, hard reset and watch again. This really got me off to a good start, as I worked through all of my most important setup needs.

Couldn't you just open the sample-deleteops.ini file that is in the Sashimi\Program\Help folder and change to above and save as deleteops.ini in your SC Root Directory?

Nevermind. That's just a .txt file. The DELETEOPS.INI and FILEBACKUP.INI are missing. When I run Sashimi and go to the File Tools screen, I can't view either ('cause they're gone!)

How do you create an .INI file?

I see several responses, but just to clarify, deleteops.ini is just a text file named with an ini extension. You place it into the SASHIMI\Program\INI folder.

However, I wouldn't set it up to delete the SDConfig.txt file, just the link SDConfig creates in the windows startup folder. Otherwise, your next flash or hard reset will not run Sashimi if you don't recreate your SDConfig.txt.

Yes, but it is just UC (use an SDCONFIG.TXT file).
