I installed the documents cab onto my storage card and soft reset. Its not showing up..what did I do wrong?

I haven't tried installing it but did you go to the settings tab then "personalize" then "home screen tabs"...you might have to enable it there...?

I actually tried that too but nothing was there about the document tab.

this might sound stupid, but once you transferred the file to your storage card you clicked on the file to run the cab right? make sure to install the software to your internal memory and not the card as you would with any other cab, then do a soft reset and if still not showing up check to ensure that the tab is enabled, that would be my guess, i haven't installed this either.

I installed this ROM in my Verizon TP 2and it is awesome. There are only 2 quirks I have found. 1) sometimes the backlight button gets stuck and I cannot turn the phone back on. I am able to get it back by pressing the button on my bluetooth earpiece. The other is the Message reader. It switches by itself to landscape mode when reading a picture msg and get stuck in landscape. The only way to get back to portrait is to back out to the homepage. Other than that this ROM is awesome.

I did run it but I think that not installing it on the device memory may be the case. I'll re-install the cab and i'll post an update. Thanks everyone!

UPDATE: I re-installed the cab on my device memory and it worked! +1 for all who helped.

Hey! just flashed this romg and im liking it so far...question...is there a reason there's no send (soft) button IN HTC messaging or is that just the way the ROM is built...can i get the button back by any chance?

+1 on this...i've done everything the instructions said and it doesn't work. i really like the ROM tho. i don't wanna flash back 2 something else if i don't have 2. can anyone help?!
