can someone please tell me how to stop the htc sms message app to stop auto-rotating from the registry..please

i have been searching to no avail..i tried g-config to do it be it continues to rotate..

..the problem is that when ur typing and it automatically rotate, sometimes it causes the phone to freeze or slow down..please Help Me thanks!

Opinion: deck i think you should remove the auto-rotate in messaging app since i think no one uses the landscape on screen keyboard..thanks!

I know many of you are eagerly anticipating the R3 release, so let me assure you, it will DEFINITELY be worth the wait. I am just about to flash what will hopefully be the release candidate for R3 with an updated HTC Messaging Client, Phone Canvas, and Opera.

A LOT of testing is going into this release!

The only way I have found to stop it is to stop the autorotation altogether. This works fine for me since we have a keyboard anyways if we need to rotate the screen for any reason. This doesnt disable your coverflow/pictureflow in manila fyi.

HKCU/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/GSENSOR/Autorotation

make the dword value 0.

quick update.

R3 is coming along extremely well. I have been updating some packages, playing with a newer build of manila, and really just tweaking this rom so it will be the hands down best rom four the tp2

i dont have a eta yet, but i can tell you soon. it will be worth the wait
