huh, im on r9, and its there. it should/ i think it would be there in r9.5 also?

Yes on r9 is there but not on r9.5. Can anyone else verify this?

check this registry...

hkey_current_user/software/htc/long press end key/

inside this folder i have: "auto execute" (set to 4, for terminate data) and "is quick list show" (set to 0)

EDIT: its the "auto execute" that changes the value (0= quick list; 4=data) so i think the rest is (1=airplane)? and (2=lock)? and (3=vibrate)?

yes, your only missing 1 which should fix it once inserted "AutoExecute"

deck,

seems r9.5 is missing 1 reg for the long press end key

its "AutoExecute"

Code:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\LongPressEndKey\AutoExecute

values (i believe) are:
0=quick list
1=airplaine
2=lock
3=vibrate
4=data

add this in w/ your selected value and should work...let me know

the attached rar has this 1 reg. file set up already w/ (4 which is terminate data) so if you want, change it to your value and import.

Thanks! but normally when it asks for provisioning.. I just skip it or do "other" doesnt seem to make a difference either wayy.. and than i go into the phone options and choose GSM for network.. than in install my own Att Cab that sets up the internet settings.. and thats it. not sure?? im baffled by this situation and why im the only one with this problem..

let me know if this works, note: you wont have the options in your settings/personal/buttons, but it should execute w/ that reg file just by doing a long press on end key

wasnt sure, just a thought id throw out there...i dont have any more, thoughts, that is but if i do later on ill post.
