Probably fixes the slide2shutdown problem. Not sure.

My 9/5 still seems pretty flawless.
Did notice that the screen isn't changing brightness as it used to.
Thinking Lumos is not keeping the settings possibly, but the settings do show when I open the app. Still looking into that.

This was discussed in this thread way back and NRG chimed in and explained why a Stock flash will fix errors with ANY custom rom.

I always flash to stock before custom and my NRG 9/5 is pretty freakin FLAWLESS!
Some do not believe it works or they do not understand why, I can tell you that it does work with many problems people are having.

If everyone would follow the same flash procedure it might help rom chefs in narrowing down the real bugs and the problems that just occur from bad flashing.
Chefs running all around looking into bugs and trying to fix problems that are not necessarily problems with their roms.
If it were really bugs with the roms then more than a few people would have the same problem.

Sure software that can be installed can cause errors with the rom that other people do not see because they do not use the same app.
I have a crap load of games and apps installed and this rom is ROCKIN!

No bugs to report and no errors yet of any kind that are being caused by this rom.

so i flashed the titanium version. as far as the dialer-is there a fix besides the one where you have to replace tpcutill.dll and cprog.exe? it fixes the blurriness when scrolling but when i copy them to the windows folder it hoses adding new contacts. like if i go to save to contacts then select new it does nothing. so it corrects the blurriness but screws the add contact feature.

Did you get the rom from NRG's link?
If so there is no virus.

If you got the rom from another link then I can't say there is or isn't a virus.
Stick with NRG's link to be safe.

Heard you the first time I've been reading this post all day (like that's any different ) and I'd say Yes. But I dont have AVG and dont have any issues. Go to the Search Thread and type AVG you'll see lots of posts on it just from today.
