I would like to give it a whirl with Sense 2.5. I always love the new MS builds but recently fell in love with the classic style and steady performance of the 21xxx builds. For those unfamiliar, 23016 was one of the last official, maybe even the last, MS build with the Start menu on the top. basically it is the best of both worlds some of the newer MS 23xxx goodies being deployed but yet, classic 21xxx style and stability.

My question is...... does anyone want to play in the middle ground???? I am a frequent flasher so it's no big issue for me to flash a build, if I don't dig it I flash on with my bad self to another. Where this would be a real issue is with the everyday users who set the ROM up and leave it that way for awhile, while using the device regularly for multiple uses not just texting and browsing when not making calls. Just curious if any of those types of users still rock the 23016 builds from prior due to it's pretty solid performance yet newer asthetics.

This post is a conversation starter if nothing else ....

I just get and keep wats new, well unless it dont boot like the one on the 20th lol

I don't think it would be a real issue with the everyday user b/c I am one of them. I set my ROM up and leave it like that until I get bored and want to try something else or a new ROM comes out. Really what I would like to see is the stabilty of Manila 2.1 w/the weather on the home screen and maybe some other goodies.

On another note 21Nov21869M2.5 is flat sick for those wanting something more stable yet Sense 2.5. I have had only one issue and it was resolved with a soft reset and never came back. This thing is zinging! I generally stay with the most current build of MS that NRG deploys, but the BSOD made me flash the 21869 to test out and I am impressed!

Exactly.....the dude is a cyborg though.....he doesn't eat, I am pretty sure of it......I think he may even have a flex capicitor that converts light from his computer monitor into plutonium allowing him to run nonstop. Wolverine is too scared to call foul for NRG using his pic as an avatar, that adda to tell ya something!

The 8-11 23016 ROM is one of my all time favourites. I never had to worry about anything with that one. Speed, stability, battery life, aesthetics were all there on that one. The only thing I didn't like about it was the ringer from the HTC dialer and how it would not ring or freeze when you tried to answer a call. I disabled the HTC dialer and just used the Winmo dialer and everything worked great. I do like the newer builds but I imagine if he included the currently dialer from the 28002 ROM I would rock it out for a bit but I'm really into using the builds with the bottom taskbar and fringer friendly menus. I have full confidence in NRGZ that he'll be able to get one of these newer builds to behave accordingly. Think about how far the 2.5 ROMS have come already. They're practically everyday ROM's if you can deal with a "Sleeping Beauty" from time to time this 28002 kicks @$$ and it's still so raw

the gps weather and the contact tab is what makes 2.5 to me so if those two features could be put together and 23016 would be great

Has anyone else noticed in the 28002 build in the calendar app, from the "Sense" side, when you are changing/setting the time of the event and rolling the numbers to the appropriate time all of the digits trace together as it spins and never renders itself to the proper number visually. It'll be the correct time but the numbers themselves become jumbled. If I remember correctly this was also there in the 21869 ROM.

As I said I was speculating off an NRGZ28 tweet. Nothing has been said tht he WIILL do it. I just am curious as to how my fellow NRG addicts felt about it.
