I've been wanting to try the new 6.5.3 ROM, but I didn't like all the bugs in 2.5 Manila in the last couple of builds. I ran one for about a week, but it's just too GSM still. I made the mistake of going in to my phone settings, and noticed they were all GSM settings I was seeing. So I backed out of it and rebooted... ringer was dead when it came back, and the data took a while to get going again. It was fun to play with, but I think I'm going to stick with the 2.1 Manila builds for now. Still loving the 23504 / 2.1 build... so fast!!!

On Nov 20th he Twitted "Of course" so I was curious and clicked on the users name to see the what he responded to and it was "Do you plan on making a 2.1 manila 28002 ROM?"
And fyi-there's a relatively easy way to get the CDMA settings back, been talking about it today and if you search "CDMA" and username "sfhub" you'll find the exact post.
Basically the wrong .dll files are cooked/ported? in and the fix copies over the correct ones.
There is a reg edit too, you can use the built in reg editor to import it ( that was for tkedch's benefit)

Also, my text messages are not sending, they are just staying in the Outbox, and at a random time it decides to send them...

I looked around a bit, but couldn't find it....is there a fix for the black screen thing? I just flashed the rom and after the reset I set it on charge for a minute, when I went to go turn the screen on it was black (and the charging lite kept going even when unplugged...)

What build are you guys on? I assume 28002?
My SMS is fine, no issue. Are you sending from Sense? I am.
Still working on the Black Screen of Doom no fix yet but I havent seen it for a few hours now, still testing....

I updated last night to the 28002 version from Mighty ROM (tried a different one last night that started with the I and switched after an hour), I usually hit the TXT button and send text messages. I'm not quite used to the toolbar being on the bottom and somethings are sometimes weird in comparison to the mighty rom.

It seems like a great build!

Awww Bummer. Just 28002 and got the BSON (Black Screen of Nothing) after just a few minutes.

I had finished the flash and set my phone down to eat and when I picked it up to load the rest of my programs it was locked. Soft reset and it came back to life.
Hadn't even made a call on it yet or tried a text.

Just sent a texct to my wife and it went through in about 5 seconds so thats working for me.

Since I use Phonex as my dialer and PIM, I'm going to use the "disable WM dialer" option to see if the BSON is related to the stock dialer.

You will get used to all the buttons on the bottom eventually. And you will find out that it is more intuitive that way too. Hope you like this rom and enjoy!
