Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23081/21864) |Nov5| Manila 2.1 and 2.5

Since it's real slow right now, here's a curiosity question. Everytime someone mentions going into bootloader they always say to hold the vol down and power then hit the reset. I always go into bootloader by just holding the vol down and power for about 3 sec. Does this not work for anyone else?

Vol + power into bootloader works if your phone is already off. It doesnt work if your device is on, at least not for me. So if my device is up and I want to go into bootloader, then i add the reset button to the mix.

That's why. I always power off first. Thanks.

just thought I would throw this out there. I've had a working ringer since I converted my ringtones to .wav files. don't know if it'll work for everyone, but 2+ days and no problems yet.

edit: juicy ezinput cab added htc kb back in, yay

Awesome! That's the thing (IMO-FUN!) about the ringer issue, very random in both the problem and the fixes. I've read posts on that fix failing for some users. The Turn Off Mute fix (in TPTweaks) was another with mixed results.
We gotta try and see what works and what doesnt, as with a lot of aspects of this cutting edge manila 2.5 that nrgz has blessed us with.
I will say that I dont remember reading any posts about the WM dialer failing, doesnt mean it hasn't, just seems the most consistent fix. I'm happy with it but can't wait to see what is coming next....

The only thing I would like to get fixed is taping the sms in sense would go to the wm sms ( old habits are hard to break) but that isn't something that will get fix soon/ever from what I read over at xda.

Again I would like to thank the team here for answering so many questions (and a few of the same questions so many times)
I think once you get a habit of what you really need and what you can play with, you can set up the sashimi just the way you want it with a combination of auto and manual install. It also makes you less afraid of reflashing if anything goes wrong.

does the titanium version have htc keyboard?
Don't know about the 2.5 version but 21864 2.1 still has HTC keyboard when you disable tf3d.

Have you tried just installing Juicy47 keyboard?
