Uninstall Arcsoft/Pic Mail cab, Soft reset, Install DCD carrier, Soft reset, Install Arcsoft, soft reset.....& bada boom bada bing fat lady can sing on that issue.

I have no issue with it removing my battery meter or making it not count right or what not BUT I have heard if you do not have the right DCD cab it will play shenanigans like what you are experiencing with your meter. Make sure your DCD is from oct08. I will attach it when I get back on the pc, it's the one that works for me. Also make sure you ar enot using the newest Arcsoft, it's a no go as well. I'll attach it too, give me a few......

who doesn't have any dialer issues with this phone? My issue is when you press call but doesn't make a call, or when someone calls you it lights up but you cant pick up..

I just did a wipe and tried dialing. This time when the dialer crashes, my signal reboots (shows no service and back to service)...so it kinda fixes itself.

I will try a fresh rom install again.

Here ya go friend. It wouldn't let me add em to my orig reply. Hope these help ya out. Like I said they all work on my Alltel TP when I do the MMS install dance I mentioned in my previous post.

OHHH I seee. We were all new once! That initial flash bout made my skivies another color, but I haven't looked back since. The ROM is the best so at least you don't have to waste time trying em all!!

Search ThreeFaces, he has a thread dedicated to the ROM. It is packed with about everything you need to know and it's full of links and cabs and so on. I def rec. you check that out. Also Rootlinux, has a thread where he has custom mods for the ROM. Both fellas are frequent here and you can find links to their threads in their signatures or by doing a site search.

Anyways Welcome...........try those cabs I posted in the manner I laid down. Lemme know! STAY NRGized!!

I would go into settings/system/remove programs and remove it, Soft reset, run uninstll cab, soft reset, dcd cab, soft reset, arcsoft, soft reset.

Then just for gigs go into Messaging, sms inbox, menu, pic/video options/server/click alltell mmsc and make sure it is set as Alltell.

This is how it works for me flawlessly.

ThreeFaces posted on this exact topic sometime today just before noon or so. He refrences using Sashimi to set up his program tab. Search back a little bit you will find it.
