Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23071/21864) ** | Oct 22nd | Manila 2.1

There are lots of comments about 23071, and I know that 21864 is considered in the most stable branch, but can someone that had 23016 and flashed to 21864 describe any differences they've noticed? So far I think I read one or two experiences with the two different roms/branches. I realize that no one can decide but me what rom to use, but I think it's helpful to hear other people's experiences, opinions. Thanks!

to be honest i saw no difference from 23016 to 21864, i did notice i stop having data issues on 21864 and had data issues to 23016

I like to be on the new hotness, if you are stable and liking 23016 then stay. personally i'm on 23071 and loving it even with its bugs!

21864 feels like same old Energy to me (that's a compliment). Fast and stable. Aside from the Alert quirk I posted on the last page I've had 0 issues. I honestly don't see many differences but I'm still playing/exploring.
A few sub-menu tabs have been switched to the bottom of the screen, the Alarm issue appears to have been resolved (though I hadnt checked it in awhile so it couldve been fixed before). As you may have read 21864 doesnt allow the Drag & Drop customization to the Start menu but you can still move icons around (move to the top).
No one has posted a significant FUNCTIONAL difference between the two builds ('071 & '864) that I've seen. I may take '071 for a spin but I'm going to chose stability over looks every time. Hope that sheds some light for you.

Ring Volume seems to not be working properly for me.
I go phone > Menu > Options > Ring standard . OK
Reset
PHone volume is still low.
HTC Volume control is set to Two tabs , ringer is default. Tried system as default too and no difference.
any idea how to get the phone ring to be much higher.. when I test it, the volume sounds nice and loud. when i call it, the volume appears to be at 50%

Question Since I have the taskbar on the bottom I can't "OK" the initial screen on Pocketrar... Any suggestions?

yepper...open pocketrar and when the initial screen is up press the hardware 'back' button. works like a champ

im finding this build quite stable, been runnin the hell outta it sice last night..only real issue is what ive noticed with all of NRGs roms is the battery life. it seems even worse than usual, but ive just fired up lumos and ill give that a go. for the guys who are asking about task manager, its a 6.5.1 thing. theyre all like that more or less, the only good thing is NRG has showcase mapped to a long press or the start button..works tip top. and most 6.5 taskbars will make everything go bugaloo so you guys will have to use the search and find some that work with 6.5.1 ... anyhow great work NRG muchly appreciated mate
