This could be due to any programs you might have installed after you flashed MR 4.16. It is recommended to do a hard reset through the Settings>System>Clear Storage after you flash a new rom. I think this happens because the phone is lagging... So when you turn the backlight off, the phone might still be processing something. It should usually turn off after a few secs, if not just try doing a soft-reset first, and see if it fixes the problem.

thanks, for letting me know it was there. however mightys rom are default for 0sec delay. at least mine was was so im not sure what Krakilin0405 would be able to do...

I have an interesting issue with MR 4.16.

My Internet Explorer does not connect. Opera does without an issue, but I usually prefer IE.

Any thoughts?

Soft Reset does clear this, something else strange about this behavior, is when I turn the phone back on while the backlight is on, I see a brief checkerboard flash.

The only thing that I can think of that may be the issue is the TCPMP install with all of the h264, ac3 and flash-bundle goodness that goes along with it.

I just find myself looking very closely to the phone after I hit the power button before sticking it in my holster/pocket...

Interesting, because after every flash, this is the first place I go to, and it's always set for 3000 miliseconds. (3 seconds)

I figured out my Jetcet issue. The darn thing was restored by SPB backup but I guess not as an OEM, so it requested that I register. I have no clue how that worked. Anyone know how I can get a hold of a Clearvue Presentation cab now? Much appreciated.

Sorry if I missed it, but is anyone having trouble with MMS? I installed the Alltel Arcsoft cab which worked with previous versions of Mighty Rom, but can't send or receive pictures. When I try to send I get a message that says "In order to send MM messages, the current active connection may be closed. Do you want to continue?" I click yes, but it doesn't do anything. Thanks for any help.

Anywho, its flashing time tonight... Is 4.17 going to be out tonight/tomorrow? Or should I go ahead and flash 4.16?
