Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

So I noticed that my keyboard is "broken" (the SYM, FN, and shift keys do not work anymore), and I recalled people saying that EzInput (2.0.348550 is what I had installed) was the cause of that. I tried uninstalling it, but it won't let me, giving the message "EzInput 2.0.348550 was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs?" I say no so that I can try removing it again, and get the same message.

Is there a way to fix this? I would really like to get my hardware keyboard functionality back. Also, is there another keyboard that acts like Ezinput (or a version of EzInput that works? I really like the compact qwerty option, as FingerKeyboard seems too crowded/scrunched and takes up more of the screen.

I know I can hard reset, and start from scratch, but I'd like to avoid that for the time being.

Is there another version of OZ Messenger for Sprint I should be using?

I know, I know... OZ Messenger isn't the best out there but it is the only Multi IM Client that seems to be SMS based (not constant data) which does not kill my battery quickly. It's great when you just want to leave it running in the background.

Other than that this Rom Rocks! Thanks Mighty Mike!
OZ Messenger? Isn't that what comes default with the Touch Pro? How did you get it to be SMS based? Whenever I used it it definitely opened up a data connection (and was often quite a battery drain unless I signed out and exited the program when I was finished the conversation)

One last tv request/comment. If any of you have the sprintTV working with rom can you post the cab you used as well as any fixes/hacks/regedits that you had to do?

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Has anyone else noticed their signal bar being very low or showing no bars at all? I am showing no bars at all right now in my office where previously I'd have 1-3. I can make calls and use data so it doesn't appear that I am completely out of service. ##DEBUG# shows -101db/16db. Are those numbers an accurate measurement of signal quality? I am using the stock Sprint Radio 1.03.15F, I am a Sprint customer.

Yeah OZ IM does not work with the same above error. Actually once installed you cannot even uninstall it as it doesnt show up on the remove list.

I tried to install on top in hopes it would uninstall, but states that it cant be uninstalled etc...

Hmm, OZ IM showed up on my Remove list. Maybe you didn't look through it carefully enough? (I think it is usually alphabetical, though if I just recently installed something it will often be at the very end of the list)

Hey mike I liked ur latest work but for some reason when i did a soft reset after installing a few cabs it was stuck on the first boot screen and it didn't let me do anything else. i had to reflash, this happened twice yesterday, so i went back to mightysilent. I see that it has to be me because I don't see this issue with anyone else
